Since 2009, this is just the 16th time that a #2 seed has been a dog of 3+ points in round 1. Unfortunately for the Knicks, those teams are 4-11 SU and 5-10 ATS in those situations! 

Philly came close to pulling out the win in the last game, but now it is basically a must win coming back home down 0-2. Joel Embiid was interviewed and said they know what they need to do to win the series, they know how they have to improve and they made some steps in game 2. Realistically, Philly hasn’t played a bad series, they have actually had the better FG% in BOTH of the F2 games, despite being down 0-2. They have held 4 straight opponents under 43% shooting and Tyree Maxey just won Most Improved Player which should give him a little extra motivation. 

In these double revenge situations these two teams have had a different result in recent games … the Knicks are just 3-4 SUATS as an AD against a team w/ a winning record after a previous H2H win, while the 76ers are 3-1 SUATS as a HF in a double revenge situation!
