(1) Boston Bruins at (2) Toronto Maple Leafs
As the series changes venues following two games played in Boston, I believe the fast starts will continue in Toronto, and we'll see at least two goals in the first period. In Game Two, we saw three goals in the first period, with the Bruins leading 2-1 after the first, but I think when it comes down to it, although we haven't seen it yet, the higher-scoring games benefit the Leafs, and now they're at home and get to create the match-ups they want by having the last change. It seems that after a fast-paced first period, the teams then slow down in the second period and start to play sharper defensively, which is quite the opposite of what we see during the regular season.
With the Boston Bruins being disappointed in their offensive play last game, and the Leafs looking to build on their win in Game 2, this time playing at home, I think we see an action-packed opening period.
