The Padres turn to Michael King while the Rockies go to Ryan Feltner, there is not much disparity between the two pitchers, but the lean does go to King as the better pitcher today. The Padres just flat out have a better lineup and get to hit in Colorado again after being acclimated last night. They only put up 3 runs last night, while holding the Rockies to 1, but did so against a Gomber who has a lot of breaking pitches that induce swing and misses. Tonight, the Padres face a pitcher who pounds the strike zone with fast balls that play right into what they like to see as a lineup. The Padres bullpen is well rested, outside of their closer who is on back-to-back appearances, and I think we see a lot of runs from this Padres lineup.
