The Timberwolves and Suns meet in Minnesota for the opening game of their series. I know there are a lot of people doubting the T-wolves here, but I feel like this is the best spot to play them. Because if Minnesota loses the opener at home, to me, it feels like they have already lost the series. The pressure will be squarely on them the rest of the way as the higher seed and I don't know that they will be able to overcome it. Furthermore, the Suns combination Durant, Booker and Beal is pretty lethal on the offensive end. If the number one defense in the NBA, that's the Minnesota Timberwolves, don't have a legit answer for stopping them, I don't think they have a chance the rest of the series. The T-wolves lost all three meetings to the Suns this season. The first two were in Phoenix and the final one was the final day of the regular season where Minnesota got spanked at home. The T-wolves are 10-0 straight up and against the spread this year revenging a home loss. They are also 11-3 straight up of an upset loss as a favorite. This is the best chance to back the T-wolves, so I'm going to run with it as they were 30-11 straight up at home this season.
