The Gold Sheet
(965) Minnesota Twins at (966) Baltimore Orioles: Grayson Rodriguez Strikeouts Thrown
Baltimore's young stud has cleared this mark in two of his three starts this season. Minnesota's lineup had poor strikeout numbers last season, and not much has changed through the first three weeks of this year. The Twins have the third-worst strikeout rate against right-hand pitching so far this season (27.8-percent) with the second-worst whiff rate (28.9-percent). Minnesota's Manuel Margot is the only member of the Twins' lineup that has faced Rodriguez before, so he will have the element of unfamiliarity on his side. Dating back to the end of last season, Rodriguez has earned at least six strikeouts in seven of his last nine starts. So with six strikeouts as his floor, he should have enough to get over this number against a strikeout-happy lineup from Minnesota.
