Jared Jones looks to make his 3rd MLB start and while he did get positive results in both starts, his statistics are a bit misleading. Jared was hit hard, but right at fielders while being barreled ¼ of the at bats with a high exit velocity. He did this against 2 of the weaker lineups so far this season, MIA & BAL, and now faces a much better lineup in the Phillies. 

Ranger Suarez is a tried-and-true veteran that understands what is expected of him. He pitches to weak contact and keeps the ball down in the zone away from the barrel of the bat. He pitched well against one of the best lineups in baseball (ATL) and came back with a winning start against WSH. The Phillies lineup has underperformed so far this season but is filled with veterans who now get to face a rookie pitcher at home
