Getting in later than I expected so I apologize for this being short and sweet but I do think it will get the point across and I'll be back to standard analysis tomorrow.
Roenis Elias is going to make his KBO debut here, he was already pitching at AAA for the Cubs and comes in on what has been the best all around team in the league so I expect this transition to be more seamless than most mid-season foreign acquisitions.
LG is still a contender but I've had to knock the Twins down my power rankings due to some injury concerns and even if Elias isn't lights out I think he ends up being better than Ji-Gang Lee who probably doesn't belong in a KBO starting rotation.
Last week I mentioned the LG bullpen had an ERA over 4.00 for the first time in years and, while the Twins whittled it back down to 3.75, they now have another key reliever out in addition to Woo-Suk Go who is easily the best closer in the league.
I'm starting to see cracks in the armor for the currently 1st place Twins, with the injuries this isn't the best team in the league right now and there will be value opposing them starting here.
