Needless to say, Lebron is still very capable of putting up big points. He had a whopping 37 points last game. That was against Portland in a game where the Lakers were down 25 at halftime. In his previous game, facing Memphis, the Lakers scored 122 but Lebron had only 23 points. The game before that was against Sacramento and he scored 32. Before that, he went off against defensively-challenged Houston. As I said, he's still very capable. However, tonight, he'll face a stingy Clipper team which plays much better defense than his recent opponents and which tends to give Lebron trouble. He scored 30 against the Clippers last game, though he did leave six minutes early. In this season's first meeting, he had only 20. He had 26 in his previous game against the Clippers and 21 before that. Before that? 23. The Clippers always have a number of defensive options for him and tonight Kawhi Leonard, a 2-time Defensive Player Of The Year, will be among them. I have Lebron getting less than 32.
