48 Colorado at Dallas

WE got pretty much what we were expecting in the series opener. As the rested Avalanche took advantage of the short preparation of the Stars, and gained the opening victory. That Dallas and Vegas series was tightly contested with the final goal scores of 16 to 16 after seven games. We knew it would be tough for Dallas to change mindsets in such an early turnaround. But now down 1-0 in the second game at home, this is the contest the Stars will be ready for. Keep in mind they lost the first two at home in the previous series, so they are well aware of what another defeat here would mean. Colorado has a terrific offense, but we still have concerns about their defense and goal tending. Dallas as the better team evens this series up tonight.
