If you have been following me, you know how much I like the Oilers. I bet them +400 to win the Cup and I love them tonight. I know the Canucks have owned this team all season long, winning all 4 games and some of them easily. This is meaningless to me as I a betting current form. The Canucks did not look like a team that can keep up with the Oilers. They scored 2 goals in their last 2 games against Nashville, and unless they can find away to 4 goals, I don’t think they can keep this game or even the series close. IN the 6 game against Nashville, they scored 4 twice and both were phony. The 1st one included an empty net and the Canucks only had 21 shots on Nash and the 2nd one they were down 3-2 with 10 seconds to play and had a miracle. Now they play the Oilers who honestly can score 4-5 goals every night out. They put up 4 or more goals 4 of the 5 games they played the Kings and the Kings are better on D than the Canucks. There were 2 games where they put up over 40 shots on the Kings and that is double any 2 games the Canucks played against the Preds. 

This Oiler team is just so fast, with so many scorers and an almost unstoppable power play. Edmonton scored a PP goal in every game against the Kings and scored 3 PP goals in a game twice. 

I also love how rested the Oilers are and expect them to come out flying. This is a team with Cup aspirations that have made deep runs already and they know how to win in the Playoffs. The Canucks were completely outplayed by Nashville and were frankly lucky to get out of that series. 

I don’t believe in the Canucks right now and I am very bullish on the Oilers.
