The Mets host the Cardinals at Citi Field. Jose Butto makes his fourth start this season for the Mets. Butto, who pitched sparingly over the last two years, has been excellent to start the season. Despite having a 0-0 record, his ERA is a tiny 1.65 and his WHIP is 1.04. He's got 21 strikeouts in 16.1 innings. Butto has at least six strikeouts in all three of his starts. The Cardinals have the fourth highest strikeout percentage on the road against righties on the season. The biggest problem is that Butto has walked nine batters in his three starts. That becomes a pitch count issue and how long he can go in games. But St. Louis is bottom 10 in walk rate against righties on the road. Shop around because there is plus-money out there.
