Analysis

I'm well aware the White Sox are 3-21, I think what's being lost here is the Twins right now aren't that much better.  The Twins were hitting sub .200 as a team prior to this series so to think they are just going to sweep here AND win another game by more than the -1.5 margin is just too ridiculous for me not to take an opposing stance

Most that look at this game will judge Minnesota starter Simeon Woods-Richardson on the one MLB start he made this year as part of a double header agianst the Tigers.  I that game Woods-Richardson cruised through a watered down Tigers lineup on his way to a win but I think that massively inflates his SP value here.

In three starts with AAA St Paul Richardson has a 6.08 ERA with a 1.58 WHIP.  Opponents are hitting .302 against him and, for as bad as the White Sox lineup is, I can promise you it's not worse than the Nashville Sounds or Indianapolis Indians lineup.  The White Sox also have hit some the past couple days, scoring 5 runs on Tuesday and 3 runs last night.

I also like the fact the White Sox will be able to stack their top relievers behind Mike Soroka and based on what Soroka has done so far this year I think it's probably a shorter outing for him where they piggy back him with someome like Chris Flexen who I've been saying for years is better in the long relief role.

The White Sox might only have three wins but this is as good of a spot as any to get win number four and we are getting the run cushion to work with here.
