Not exactly sure what that first half showing by Dallas on Sunday was but figuring it’s out of their system now. 9/41/22% from the floor & 2/18/11.1% from 3 were turned around with 67 point second half which saw the Mavericks shoot 56.4% & 53.3% which recording a +15 in free throw attempts (19-4). Clippers may have let up some so must consider that but potentially let Dallas re-establish offensive rhythm in the process. Possibility that Los Angeles starting SF Kawhi Leonard (present at shoot around earlier) goes tonight despite what’s a constant inflammation problem in his knees the past 2-3 weeks. Unsure how effective he’ll be defensively or how many minutes he’ll log tonight but Mavs likely have plan of attack set. Also likely that playoff newcomer rim defenders Daniel Gafford & Derrick Lively Jr. have a better understanding of the increased intensity and physicality.
