NHL - Washington Capitals at New York Rangers 

Game Thoughts: Rangers used an early 2 minutes 2nd period burst to score 3 on their way to a 4-1 win in game 1 and it's really the first time in a couple of weeks we've seen the Capitals struggle to respond and that could be a sign that push to make the playoffs started to empty the tank but I'm more inclined to go with the fact that the Rangers did what they've done most of the season which is making teams look inferior. They held all the important analytic advantages from xG, high danger chances, scoring chances, shots on goal. Lindgren did a solid job of keeping them at bay but it's very likely this series goes only one way and that's a Rangers 4 or 5 game elimination of the Caps. Taking the puck line here as I'm expecting another solid 60 minutes from them to take a 2-0 lead to Washington.
