The Knee Jerk reaction here is to the grab the Kings as they looked like World Beaters in their Blowout of the Warriors while New Orleans is without Zion. As impressive as Sacramento’s win was let’s remember Golden State is not as good as we want to believe they were. Golden State was a flawed team that had Steph Curry and not much else. Defensively they were horrible. The Kings hit (18) 3 pointers 18/39 that’s 46% and they were better from 3 than from 2. Beating Golden State was huge for the Kings as it was Golden State that knocked them out of the Playoffs last year in a grueling 7 game series. Now I’m not going to say that the Kings will be flat as this is a playoff game but I will say they may just feel a little too comfortable coming off the blowout win and feeling they caught a break facing New Orleans without Zion. One last thing about the New Orleans loss to the Lakers. When the Lakers have all hands on deck they are better than a play in team they are a legit Playoff Team and the Lakers got just about every close call in the win over New Orleans. The Lakers went to the Foul Line 29 times while New Orleans went just 15 times. That 15 pt differential at the line was the difference in the game. Now we have the Injured Player Theory and an Over adjustment in the Line giving us value on the New Orleans side.
