With all due respect to the Hawks and Bulls in the East, when the NBA executives drew up this play-in concept, this was the kind of matchup they were hoping for. The last three meetings between the Kings and Warriors have been decided by a single point. Unfortunately for Sacramento, those results all came with Malik Monk and Kevin Huerter on the floor. Both will be out tonight, and Sacramento's offense has certainly felt the effects in recent weeks. Conventional wisdom would suggest that the Kings will enjoy playing at home tonight, but Golden State has been ruthless on the road this season. The Warriors are 15-6 against the spread as a road favorite this year, and Golden State should be at full strength. These teams met in the first round of the playoffs last season with Golden State earning a 4-3 series win in seven games. Steph Curry has averaged 31 points per game in the four head-to-head matchups against the Kings this season as we expect another big night out of him. At full strength, we might be looking a different way. But Sacramento simply hasn't figured out its rotations without Monk and Huerter, and the dip in offense has been obvious.
