Everything Kiwoom did this past offseason suggested they expected to not contend this year.  From losing Jung-Hoo Lee to MLB, losing Woo-Jin An to season ending surgery and deciding to keep on import bat Ronnie Dawson who is a guy they found in Independent League ball there's no way Kiwoom expected to be much better than a last place team.

That has not been the case, Kiwoom have strung together timely hit after timely hit on their way to a four game winning streak and 11-6 start.  Kiwoom is 8-2 in their past 10 games, they are playing as good as any team in the league right now but I just don't think that's going to last and I'll look for the regression to start here.

Not so much because I'm high on KT this season but I am high on William Cuevas who is now in his SIXTH KBO season and still one of the best pitchers in the league.  Ariel Jurado for Kiwoom was really good last season but Year 2 is always the toughest for pitchers in this league (it means they were good enough to come back for a second season but now the league has seen them) and I think we are already seeing that regression with Jurado.

I do think KT is better than their horrific 5-15 start so I'll take a shot with Cuevas and the Wiz here.
