3% #903/904 Atlanta Braves & Miami Marlins OVER 8.5 — 

These two teams have a history of putting up some runs, when you look back in the L15 games (back to the ‘22 season), these divisional opponents have gone over the total in 13 of those 15 games! They are averaging a combing 12.5 runs/game over that span, but the trends go beyond what they did last year. 

Atlanta is the #1 scoring team in the league when you look at it in terms of runs/game and don’t give the two teams w/ 16 games played (LAD & SD) the advantage of their extra games. The Braves are 9-2 OU this season, but that includes 7-0 OU already against their division and an offense that is putting up over 8 runs/game when the opposing team starts a RHP. 

As for Miami, they may be winless at home this season … but they are 7-1 OU at LoanDepot Park. Unfortunately for them, it is mainly because the team is allowing over 7 runs/game at home with a bullpen that has posted a 6.86 ERA there as well. Yet the reason that I included Miami and didn’t focus on the Braves TT is because the Marlins have actually shown some productivity in day games this year. They are 6-1 OU during the day but it is BY FAR their best offensive split putting up nearly 5 runs/game themselves, but still allowing nearly 7 runs/game to the opposition.
