2% Texas Rangers/Houston Astros Total Combined Hits UNDER 17.5 (-105) — 

This is definitely an interesting pitching matchup early in the season here for the AL West. I know it is early, but right now there is NO question that Blanco would be the Cy Young winner at this point. He has thrown 2 starts (15 IP) and has allowed 1 hit, including his no-hitter that he already threw this season. One of his starts was against the Rangers already, but he has had a solid history in 2 starts against them, allowing just 5 hits in 11 IP. 

When you look at the other side, Heaney is on the mound for the Rangers and while his ERA is alarmingly high, he actually hasn’t allowed as many hits as one may think. He has only allowed 8 hits in his 2 starts, but thanks to a HR and a couple walks, his ERA skyrocketed. 

While both teams have had their up’s and down’s already, Texas is one of the worst teams in the league hitting during the day. As a team they are hitting a combined .192 in day games, the 2nd worst BA in the league.
