A lot of the time people look to fade a team off a road trip, but the way I look at it, that's not how it should always work. The only fade spot should be fading a team off a successful road trip, not when they just lost three straight like the Knights just did, as they'll be happy to be home and motivated to get a win in front of their home crowd. The Knights recently lost to the Coyotes, Oilers and Canucks, before that, they won three straight, including a win over this very Minnesota Wild team. 

With the Golden Knights, especially at home, you're able to tell right away if they're on their game or not. Since the start of this team, they have had STRONG first periods at home, using the energy of the home crowd, especially after a road trip has been huge for them, as well as getting the last change to get the match-up they prefer. 

The Wild have really slowed down with their offensive production, struggling to create chances and lacking depth in a big way.
