Banger of a fight just before UFC 300 Main Card starts… 

Expect this one to deliver high level excitement mixed with a profitable angle. Both these gentlemen are top tier strikers with fight ending power. Jiri's extremely unorthodox with an awkward fighting style. Typically tough to prepare for the movement, footwork and odd angles at which he fires off combinations. Re-watching Rakic's past fights there's one path in which is widely available for Jiri fitting right into his preferred style.. chaos. Aleksandar wants a more technical fight at range allowing room to utilize his incredibly powerful kicking arsenal. What's been a concern is how uncomfortable Aleksander is once pressured and forced to work off his back foot. Struggling to kick moving backwards and fight in more of a boxing range. Jiri's style plays into the weakness of Rakic as he'd rather a technical fight than brawl… which a brawl Jiri will bring. Relentlessly moving forward aggressively swinging backed by cardio to fuel a high pace. No doubt Jiri is hitable in those blitzing attacks yet the smothering pace/pressure allows Jiri to dictate the pace of the fight. Mixing in his unusual style provides the landscape for power shots to land. We also MUST address the elephant in the room in this fight… Rakic's 2 year layoff. Back in May of 2022, Rakic blew out his knee against Jan Blachowicz. That's a lengthy layoff and large recovery time now stepping into the cage with easily his toughest opponent he's ever faced. Could make him timid in the pocket or concerned about absorbing impact on it. 

At this price sitting around slight plus money with style, pace, layoff and injury all up against Rakic… feel likes solid value at this number.
