Fourteen of the 16 NBA teams that will take the court on Wednesday are on the second leg of a back-to-back. The Cavaliers are one of the two teams that are rested. In fact, Cleveland is VERY rested. The Cavs haven't played since Sunday, and Donovan Mitchell is set to return after missing a large chunk of the last month. His assist prop has opened at a very modest 4.5 for this matchup, which is a mark that he's cleared in 75-percent of his games this season. In his lone matchup with the Grizzlies earlier this year, Mitchell had seven assists. For all intents and purposes, Memphis is waving the white flag on this season. The Grizzlies' entire starting lineup is out, and they have essentially promoted their G-League team to finish the last week of the season. Memphis was out-scored by 20 at home against the Sixers on Saturday and lost by 15 at home to San Antonio last night. Now, they must travel to Cleveland on the second leg of a back-to-back against a Cavs team that is battling for playoff position in the East. Over their last seven games, the Grizzlies are allowing over eight assists per game to opposing point guards and over 4.5 assists per game to opposing shooting guards. The rested Cavs should be able to get whatever they want on offense, and this is the perfect spot for Mitchell to shake off the rust and get back into the flow.
