4% Purdue & UConn UNDER 145.5 — 

I am going back to the under in this National Championship tonight. After another big winner in the Alabama/UConn game on that total, I am headed back down the same path. 

UConn’s defense has impressed throughout the tournament, negating Illinois’ powerhouse unit and then holding Alabama under in a blowout. Now they have Purdue on deck in the biggest game and they are taking on a team that was even more tested than themselves this season. Purdue has played one of the toughest schedules in the nation and have still put up impressive numbers all year on both sides of the ball. 

Neither team really runs at a very high tempo, so it should be a much different pace than what we saw against Alabama, and neither team really takes a lot of 3 pointers. They have both been pretty good at limiting foul shot opportunities and neither really force a lot of TO’s which should limit the easy points we see in transition. 

Purdue has stayed under in 4 out of their 5 tournament games thus far, while UConn is 0-5 OU in the tournament! Going back to the conference tournament, UConn has stayed under in 6 straight games and is 1-9 OU in their L10! The Huskies are also 4-13 OU off B2B double-digit wins and 8-15 OU on the road this season!
