Made a 2% play are I take a conservative approach when both teams are not play-off bound.

The Blues have lost the L2 and are likely out of the playoffs trailing the Predators by 7 points despite posting a 40-32-5 record. They went to play some more young players but still are the superior team. As a fav or small dog St Louis is 16-7 while going 13-3 in that role vs teams with a losing record.
