This is a strong bounce back spot for Dan Argueta as the market overcorrected here. 

Most recently, Dan Argueta faced Miles Johns in an absolutely terrible stylistic match up nullifying Dan's strongest path, wrestling. Miles was able to counter wrestle and continually outwork Argueta in grappling and scrambling situations. That won't be the case on Saturday. Jean Matsumoto has some hype behind him after winning on Dana White's Contender Series, but this is a bad match up for him. One big red flag on Jean is he's very uncomfortable fighting off his back foot… this lines up perfectly to how Dan likes to fights. Argueta should have no issue cutting distance, level changing and taking this fight to the ground. Most of the fight Jean will be defending takedowns attempting to create space unable to get his offense going. The relentless chain wrestling from Argueta will force Jean to be more defensive than offensive for most of the fight, allowing Argueta opportunities to control the action banking rounds. Dan is also big for the weight class giving him that physicality advantage, bullying his way to top control. A quick first step and strength advantage will provide the landscape for successful takedowns. Add in the fact that at times Matsumoto plays to much off his back, believing in his Jiu Jitsu but Argueta's ground game will be superior. Plus Dan has endless cardio fueling these relentless takedowns over 3 rounds or as long as it lasts. Aggressively moving forward all fight overwhelming Jean from the opening bell.
