(915) Chicago White Sox at (916) Tampa Bay Rays
The Rays face the White Sox at the Trop for the second game of their three game series. I'm back to fading Mike Soroka again. I mean, genuinely, he's not a major league pitcher anymore. The White Sox aren't a major league team at this point either, but I digress. Soroka has a 6.48 ERA and 1.62 WHIP. He allowed at least four runs in each of his first three starts. Then he allowed just two in each of his last two starts, both of those against the Twins. Teams are averaging 7.4 runs against the White Sox in games that Soroka starts. Part of that is that the Chicago bullpen has a 4.33 ERA and the second highest WHIP at 1.48. Tampa has also scored the second most runs at home since April 15th, trailing only the Phillies.
