CFB Tech Angle

Nebraska @ Oregon 10/17 08:10 PM
The Cornhuskers enter Eugene having covered all five of their point spreads vs. FBS-level foes this season.
Wake Forest @ California 10/17 07:10 PM
The Deacs are now a sparkling 12-3 vs. the line their last 15 games since early 2025, with the lone spread L this season in the opener vs. Akron when the Zips slipped in the backdoor very late in a 38-16 Wake romp.
New Mexico @ Hawaii 10/17 07:10 PM
The Lobos continue to offer great spread value for second-year head coach Jason Eck, now 13-4 vs. the number since early last season, and 5-0 against the spread to begin the current campaign.
Fresno State @ San Diego State 10/17 07:10 PM
The host Aztecs have failed to cover the spread in five of their six games to date in 2026.
Utah @ Colorado 10/17 07:10 PM
After a late surge last week vs. Kansas, the Utes have now covered six-straight games since late last season, with their outright win streak at 11 since a loss to BYU at midseason a year ago. Meanwhile, the Buffs, who lost this matchup 52-7 last year in Salt Lake City, have now dropped seven-straight Big XII games, covering the spread in only one of those since midway in the 2025 campaign.
San Jose State @ UTEP 10/17 06:10 PM
"Totals" alert at the Sun Bowl, as the visiting Spartans have landed under the number in five-straight since their high-scoring opener at USC. Also note the lowly Miners have dropped seven-straight spread decisions at home vs. FBS-level opposition.
Notre Dame @ BYU 10/17 04:10 PM
The Cougars are now 9-3 against the spread over their last 12 as an underdog for head coach Kalani Sitake dating to late in the 2023 campaign.
Wisconsin @ UCLA 10/17 04:10 PM
The surging Bruins have won-and-covered their first five games this season for new head coach Bob Chesney.
No Illinois @ Wyoming 10/17 12:10 PM
The Huskies continue to offer poor spread value for interim HC Rob Harley, just 1-4 vs. the line this season (sneaking inside of a 30+ number at Arizona for the only cover), and now 6-20-1 vs. the number since the stunning 16-14 upset win at Notre Dame early in the 2024 campaign.
UNLV @ Air Force 10/17 12:10 PM
After six consecutive spread losses at home in Colorado Springs, the Falcons finally got a home cover in the recent 14-9 Commander-in-Chief's win over Navy.
Charlotte @ Temple 10/17 10:10 AM
You have to go back to the final week of the 2019 season (vs UConn) to find the last time that Temple was anywhere near this big of a favorite against an FBS-level opponent.
Washington U @ Purdue 10/16 05:10 PM
It's been a rough start to the season for the Huskies, who have dropped all six of their games vs. the spread, and now 0-7 vs. the line in regular-season games since late last year.
Appalachian St @ Coastal Carolina 10/16 05:10 PM
Coastal Carolina has won-and-covered each of the last four meetings with outright upsets in all four contests. The Chants beat the Mountaineers as a 10.5-point road 'dog last season, scoring a pair of touchdowns with less than four minutes remaining.
Colorado State @ Texas State 10/15 05:10 PM
This total was pushed into the 70s early in the week for good reason, as both of these sides are 4-1 to the "over" this season.
East Carolina @ UAB 10/15 04:10 PM
Dating back to the end of last season, six of East Carolina's last seven games have stayed under the total. Much like the Pirates, the Blazers are on a similar run of "under" results with seven of their last eight games staying under the total.
Georgia Southern @ Old Dominion 10/15 04:10 PM
Old Dominion has won-and-covered each of the last three meetings, including a 45-10 road win at Georgia Southern last season. The Monarchs out-gained the Eagles by 302 yards in that contest, and ODU has cleared the 550-yard mark in each of the last two meetings.
