10/10 6:41 AM PDT357/358 Syracuse @ VirginiaSyracuseSyracuse's top two quarterbacks are now doubtful. Steve Angeli is not expected to play this week while he deals with a foot injury. Kennesaw State transfer Amari Odom went 27-of-37 through the air for 335 passing yards with five touchdowns against UConn last week, but he's now listed as questionable. Well-traveled former five-star recruit Malachi Nelson is expected to get the nod this week.
10/10 6:38 AM PDT371/372 Miami Ohio @ MassachusettsMassachusettsUMass QB Pop Watson III is dealing with a foot injury and is no longer expected to play this week.
10/08 9:08 PM PDT467/468 Denver @ LA ChargersDenverDenver suffered a number of key injuries in last week's loss to the 49ers. Both starting cornerbacks - Patrick Surtain II and Riley Moss - were knocked out. Surtain is expected to miss the next two weeks as he recovers from an ankle injury. Wide receiver Pat Bryant is also expected to miss time with an ankle injury suffered last week at Levi's Stadium. During the week, HC Sean Payton also announced he has reclaimed old play-calling duties from OC Davis Webb after the Broncos' myriad offensive struggles the first four weeks of the season.
10/07 9:34 PM PDT325/326 Iowa State @ BYUBYUBYU running back LJ Martin suffered an ankle injury last week at TCU and has been ruled out for the next 4-6 weeks, while linebacker Isaiah Glasker will also miss Friday night's game at Provo vs. Iowa State.
10/07 9:21 PM PDT319/320 Iowa @ Washington UIowaIowa QB Hank Brown, forced out of last Saturday's game vs. Ohio State due to a sprained AC joint in his right (throwing) shoulder, will likely get nedical clearance for Friday's game at Seattle. As of midweek, however, HC Kirk Ferentz remained doubtful of Brown's participation vs. the Huskies. Backup Jeremy Hecklinski, who was engaged in a battle for the starting job with Brown throughout spring and into fall camp and took over in 4th Q after Brown was hurt vs. Ohio State last Saturday, has been taking starter's reps in practice this week, with soph Jimmy Sullivan in the backup role.
10/07 9:11 PM PDT391/392 UCLA @ OregonOregonDucks QB Dante Moore has returned to practice, but has been ruled out for this Saturday vs. UCLA due to ongoing concussion symptoms related to his KO at USC on September 26. Backup Dylan Raiola, with two years starting experience at Nebraska, passed for 289 yards and a pair of TDs off the bench in the recent 41-27 win over the Trojans and will get the start at Autzen Stadium vs. the Bruins.
10/06 6:20 PM PDT393/394 Virginia Tech @ CaliforniaCaliforniaCal QB Jaron-Keawe Sagapolutele was a combination of benched + injured in last week's loss at UNLV. Sagapolutele suffered an apparent head injury in the first half, but he was medically cleared to return. Bears' head coach Tosh Lupoi kept second-string Jackson Brousseau in the game for the whole second half, so it remains to be seen if Lupoi was protecting the health of his sophomore QB or if he is interested in seeing a little more from Brousseau in the coming weeks. Lupoi also made a play-caller change midstream last Saturday, and now passing game coordinator Pat McCann (a former OC at Fresno State) has taken overt those duties from the demoted Jordan Somerville.
10/06 5:11 PM PDT377/378 Louisiana @ Louisiana TechGeneral EventIn addition to Alabama-Georgia, this is another game that could potentially be impacted by the tropical storm picking up steam in the Gulf. Be sure to check for any potential venue changes or schedule updates.
10/06 4:53 PM PDT403/404 Georgia @ AlabamaGeneral EventWhat first seemed a far-fetched rumor appears to be quickly picking up steam. Because of the tropical storm (potential hurricane) building in the Gulf that is forecasted to make landfall on Saturday morning, there are real talks about moving this game to a safer location. We will post updates as they become available from the SEC.
10/06 4:03 PM PDT359/360 Connecticut @ TempleConnecticutUConn wide receiver Javon Brown was taken off the field in a stretcher during last week's game against Syracuse. Brown, who is averaging 14.4 yards per reception with two touchdowns this season, has returned to campus but should be considered a longshot to play in this game.
10/06 8:08 AM PDT411/412 San Diego State @ Oregon StateSan Diego StateTop Aztecs RB Lucky Sutton, who gained 1,297 yards last season, missed last Saturday's game vs. Texas State with an ankle injury suffered early in the previous week's loss at Toledo. Josiah Lucas assumed featured RB duties vs. the Bobcats and rushed for 111 yards, but the Aztecs could only muster 239 yards of offense as they were helped by defensive and special teams TDs in the 31-29 win. Sutton remains SDSU's best offensive threat, and monitor his status before this game in Corvallis.
10/05 9:56 PM PDT417/418 Boise State @ Fresno StateFresno StateFresno State running back Rayshon Luke (286 rushing yards with two TDs this season) needs to clear concussion protocol this week after getting knocked out of last week's game against Washington State.

10/05 12:43 PM PDT333/334 Illinois @ Michigan StateMichigan StateMichigan State was missing top linebacker Jordan Hall and three cornerbacks - Tyran Chappell, NiJhay Burt and Keyshawn Williams - in last week's 31-3 loss at Wisconsin.

10/05 12:35 PM PDT313/314 South Alabama @ Arkansas StSouth AlabamaSouth Alabama has made the full-time QB switch from incumbent starter Bishop Davenport to back-up Jared Hollins. The Jaguars have gone 2-1 with Hollins at the helm, and this will be his job moving forward.
10/05 12:30 PM PDT397/398 Mississippi @ VanderbiltVanderbiltVanderbilt's starting QB, freshman Jared Curtis, did not play in last week's loss to Georgia. Blaze Berlowitz hung tough against the Bulldogs, generating 8.3 yards per attempt as the Commodores only trailed by a touchdown at halftime at Sanford Stadium.
10/05 12:27 PM PDT397/398 Mississippi @ VanderbiltMississippiOle Miss running back Kewan Lacy is expected to return this week. Lacy missed the Week 4 loss to Florida and the Rebels are coming off their bye week, so Lacy has had three weeks to rest his sore shoulder. Head coach Pete Golding expects to ease Lacy back into the rotation this week with a slightly-decreased workload against the Commodores.
10/05 12:22 PM PDT375/376 Central Florida @ Oklahoma StateCentral FloridaUCF quarterback Alonza Barnett is not expected to return this week as he recovers from a hamstring injury. 10/05 12:06 PM PDT359/360 Connecticut @ TempleGeneral EventTemple QB Jaxon Smolik is listed as questionable once again as he recovers from a foot injury that has forced him to miss the last three games. Ajani Sheppard has seen playing time in all five games this season, so at this point, it feels like it's Sheppard's job to lose even though Smolik entered the year as the presumed starter.
10/05 11:57 AM PDT377/378 Louisiana @ Louisiana TechLouisiana TechLouisiana Tech's Blake Baker has been re-named the starting QB ahead of this game. Baker has missed the last two games as he recovers from a hand injury.
