NFL Tech Angle

Atlanta @ New Orleans 10/05 05:10 PM
Atlanta swept the two meetings last year, but New Orleans has covered the spread in four of the last five contests between these NFC South rivals. The Falcons managed to win both games last year despite getting out-gained by a total of 123 yards across the two contests.
Detroit @ Carolina 10/04 05:10 PM
The Lions' first three games have all gone over the total with Detroit scoring exactly 31 points in all three contests. Since Week 9 of last season, the over is 10-3 in Detroit's last 13 games. This will be Carolina's second try as a home 'dog in 2026 after getting crushed by Chicago in Week 1. The Panthers went 6-2 against the spread as a home 'dog last season with five outright upset victories.
LA Chargers @ Seattle 10/04 01:10 PM
Dating back to the final weeks of the 2025 season, the under is 10-1-1 in the Chargers' last 12 games.
Denver @ San Francisco 10/04 01:10 PM
The Broncos have now covered the spread in six of their last seven as an underdog following last Sunday night's wild win over the Rams.
Kansas City @ Las Vegas 10/04 01:10 PM
The Raiders have been a thorn in the Chiefs' side in recent years. Over the last eight meetings, Las Vegas is 5-3 against the spread with a pair of outright upset victories and a couple other close calls. Four of the last five meetings have stayed under the total.
Miami @ Minnesota 10/04 01:10 PM
Following back-to-back road wins in Chicago and Tampa Bay, Minnesota is now 8-0 straight-up, 7-1 against the spread since Week 14 of last season. Miami has lost each of its first three games by double digits. Since week 15 of last season, the Dolphins have gotten out-scored by an average of 16.0 points per game.
Dallas @ Houston 10/04 10:10 AM
Each of the Cowboys' first three games this season have gone over the total, which is part of a larger 14-2-1 "over" trend since the early stages of last season.
Tennessee @ Baltimore 10/04 10:10 AM
Since the beginning of the 2024-25 season, Tennessee is 4-14 straight-up, 5-13 against the spread away from home.
Green Bay @ Tampa Bay 10/04 10:10 AM
Tampa Bay has lost 12-straight games against the spread, which is the longest point spread losing streak in the Super Bowl era. The Bucs' last point spread cover came in Week 8 against the Saints before Halloween of last year.
LA Rams @ Philadelphia 10/04 10:10 AM
We're not sure how much of the Rams' early-season struggles should be blamed on their schedule and travel, but Sean McVay has been elite at preventing losing streaks and getting a strong bounce-back effort following a loss. Los Angeles is 34-20-3 (63.0-percent) against the spread following a straight-up loss, and blindly backing the Rams in this spot would have produced a +20.5-percent ROI since McVay took over the Rams' program.
Arizona @ NY Giants 10/04 10:10 AM
Arizona is 2-0 against the spread away from home this season, which is just a small piece of the Cardinals' success on the road in recent years. Since mid-November 2023, Arizona has gone 15-8 against the spread away from home. The Cardinals covered the spread in their first four road games last season before injuries and attrition began to mount.
Jacksonville @ Cincinnati 10/04 10:10 AM
Each of the last five meetings between Cincinnati and Jacksonville have gone over the total, with those five contests seeing an average of 54.0 points per game.
New England @ Buffalo 10/04 10:10 AM
The road team won-and-covered both meetings last season. New England earned a 23-20 upset as a 7.5-point road 'dog in Buffalo last October, and the Bills returned the favor in a big matchup in Foxboro two months later. In both contests, the team that won the yardage battle lost the game.
Indianapolis @ Washington 10/04 06:10 AM
This will be the 13th game played at London's Tottenham Hotspur Stadium since 2019. The venue has produced some low-scoring results in recent years as the last six games played at Hotspur Stadium have seen an average of 40.0 points per game.
Pittsburgh @ Cleveland 10/01 05:10 PM
First-year head coaches like Cleveland's Todd Monken have traditionally struggled in their Thursday Night Football debut because of the shortened prep period. From NFL analyst ClevTA: First-year head coaches making their Thursday debut have gone 20-40 straight-up, 24-35-1 (40.7-percent) against the spread. Teams that were a home 'dog in that situation have gone 3-18 straight-up, 6-14-1 (30.0-percent) against the spread while missing the cover by an average of 4.3 points per game.
