Quick verdict: How legit is TaoFortune?

Tao Fortune is one of the more established sweepstakes casinos, having been around since 2022, but it’s only now that I’ve sat down to create a comprehensive Tao Fortune review so you can see what it offers.

I’ve actually played at this site for a long time now, and as you’ll see below, it holds up really well due to its impressive bonuses, stylish and easy-to-use site, and massive slot collection. So, if you want a new site to try, read on as I go through important features like usability, games, the welcome bonus, and security.

Checking the core features - is Tao Fortune legit?

Now, before we get to the fun stuff, as with my High 5 Casino review, we’ve got to look at the underlying core features. Things like compliance and security are important for your safety and so that you can enjoy a reliable and legitimate gaming experience at Tao Fortune.

Regulatory compliance

I’m 100% confident that Tao Fortune is a legit sweepstakes casino. It complies with US regulations by not allowing real money gameplay or deposits, and the Tao Coin purchases are only ever optional. You can purchase optional Tao Coin packages if you want, and I tested the purchase process a few times. From what I could see, you can make TC purchases using Visa, Apple Pay, or MasterCard. This isn’t a massive selection, but it’s the most common payment method people will use. The TC packages start from $4.99, and most of them include free SC as a bonus after the TC purchase is complete. Just be aware that you might see different TC purchase methods than I do based on your location.

It’s also possible to redeem your Secret Coins for real prizes, but in order to do that, you need a minimum balance of 100 SC, have verified your ID fully, and have played through any bonus SC you have 1x. After that, you should be able to make redemption requests via bank transfer.

Customer support

I always like to make sure there’s decent customer support too when using a social casino, and with Tao Fortune, I think the live chat is the best option. There’s an icon in the bottom right corner, and I used this five different times to check the response times. Generally, you start by speaking to an AI bot, but you can request to speak to a human. I did this, and was typically connected with someone within 2-3 minutes, which is fantastic. From what I can see, the live chat is also available 24/7. There’s email support too, and a help center if you want to search for things yourself.

Responsible social gaming

Like with my Hello Millions review, I wanted to check what responsible social gaming tools the site has. If you go to your account and click the responsible play settings button, you can see the following tools:

What types of games can you play?

As I mentioned, I think one area this social casino falls down is the game genre variety. When I created this Tao Fortune review, I was only able to see the following categories:

This means that you’ve essentially got fishing arcade games and video slots. But you won’t find any single-player table games, arcade games, or live dealer games. I wish they offered these games, but I had plenty of fun trying out the different video slots and the fishing games.

The variety of slot mechanics is really impressive, and you’ve got virtually every mechanic you could think of. Whether you want to enjoy retro slots like 777 Burning Classics and Diamond Jungle, or opt for potential big prizes with jackpot slots like Wild Buffalo and Fortune Cash, there’s something for everyone.

I enjoyed the bonus buy slots the most

Out of all the games I tested at Tao Fortune, I enjoyed playing the bonus buy slots the most. With the games, you can automatically trigger the bonus features of the game by increasing your spin value by a set amount. I like these games as they mean you can get right into the action and experience the fun bonus features they have.

At Tao Fortune, some of my favorite bonus buy games included Rich Piggies 2, Velvet Gems, The Big Lap Rapid Link, and Wolf Fang Blood Moon Legacy. The only thing you have to remember with bonus buy games is that if you’re going to use the bonus buy feature, it puts the game volatility up to very high, and you can potentially whiff on the bonus rounds.

Is Tao Fortune easy to use for desktop and mobile devices?

I get irritated when a site is difficult to use or I can’t find the games I want to play easily, so, for this Tao Fortune review, I spent ages looking at the usability of the desktop website and the mobile version. Overall, I was impressed with what I saw, but was a bit surprised that there isn’t a Tao Fortune mobile app for iOS devices.

I like the classic design and layout of the desktop site

The desktop website has a simple black, white, yellow, and purple color scheme, and this makes the text easy to read. They also have a cool cartoon mascot, which I THINK is a Red Panda, and this makes sense as it ties in with the oriental-theme of the site. I had no issue finding my way around the site when I first logged on, as there is a pop-out side menu that has links to all the main pages and game categories.

This side menu also has links to the Google Play app, the TrustPilot score, and the different promotions you can get. If you’re a beginner here, or new to sweepstakes casinos in general, I don’t think you’ll have an issue understanding how everything works.

I never had any technical issues with the site either, nor did I see any 404 errors. Page speeds were fast, and I can see that it’s a well-constructed site. Lastly, I found navigating the games easy - I know which games I like playing, and I know which developers I go with, so I love the fact that they have an option to filter the games by publisher and genre. There’s also a search box so you can type in the exact title you want.

There isn’t a downloadable mobile app for iOS

A huge benefit for Tao Fortune is that it has a downloadable app for Android devices! I was surprised to see this, as hardly any social casinos have apps. You can download it directly from the Google Play Store, and at the time of writing this Tao Fortune review, it had over 1,000 downloads. Unfortunately, there isn’t currently an iOS app, though, so if you have an iPhone, you’ll have to use the mobile browser version of the site, which basically works exactly the same as the desktop site, but with a better layout suitable for phone screens.

I downloaded the Android version - it installed like any other mobile game or app. Compared to the desktop site, I prefer the mobile layout - it shifts the menu to the bottom of your screen so you’ve got maximum viewing space, and the loading speeds of the menus and games were incredibly fast, even on my old phone.

The real way to check how good a social casino app is, though, is the games. I tested a heap of titles, including slots and fishing games on the app, and virtually all of them were mobile-optimized. I was able to tilt my phone either landscape or portrait to get the best screen resolution, and I had an enjoyable gaming experience.

Final thoughts - would I recommend playing at Tao Fortune sweeps casino?

So, is Tao Fortune all it’s cracked up to be, and would I recommend it to you? From my experience, and while creating this Tao Fortune review, it’s definitely one of the better US sweepstakes casinos I’ve played at. It’s got all the main features I expect top sites to have, including a highly usable site, a massive game collection, and plenty of virtual currency bonuses. A major positive is the addition of the Google Play Store app, too, which gives Android users an awesome gaming experience.
