Quick Verdict: How Legit Is Lucky Bits Vegas?

I’m not convinced that this brand has reached its full potential yet, a vibe I’ll explain further during my Lucky Bits Vegas review. I found a decent-looking welcome bonus, but it does require a level of commitment from you.

You can use it to play 300+ assorted casino-style games from 32 states if you meet the 21+ age requirement. Plus there are a number of ongoing promos to keep your virtual currency balances topped up and a tiered reward program that will reward regular players. Lucky Bits Vegas does have limitations in certain areas, which I’ll be discussing too.

A close look at the Lucky Bits Vegas welcome bonus

As I mentioned right at the beginning of my Lucky Bits Vegas review, you’ll see there’s a substantial welcome bonus available for new players, whereby you can claim up to 20,000 Game Coins (GC), 32 Sweeps Coins (SC) and 100 Diamonds, with no Lucky Bits Vegas promo code needed.

But, and it’s a big but, you’ll need to commit to logging into your account for 30 days after registration to collect the full amount.

• On sign up: 20,000 Game Coins, 2 Sweeps Coins and 100 Diamonds
• For each subsequent login: 1 Sweeps Coin for 30 days

Fortunately, you don’t have to stay and play to collect your bonus, but you will need to be consistent with those logins, or you’re gonna miss out big time here.

The Lucky Bits Vegas virtual currencies

There’s a couple of oddities I spotted here, which deserve some explanation. The first is that Lucky Bits Vegas has decided to change the name of Gold Coins to ‘Game Coins’, and the second is the addition of a third virtual currency called Diamonds.

What’s the Lucky Bits Vegas website like to use?

When I said that Lucky Bits Vegas hasn’t reached its full potential yet, I’m sorry to say that navigation is one of the areas that’s lacking. In fact, this site is a world apart from the one I detailed in my Sweep Jungle review. Although the Lucky Bits Vegas site is simplistic and aesthetically pleasing, it is also somewhat confusing when it comes to finding your way around.

Take the homepage for starters. There are no menus at the top or side of the page like you’d expect. There’s no real information or clickable links when you scroll down the homepage either, only invitations to sign up. At least Lucky Bits Vegas has included links to important stuff like the Terms and Conditions document, and its Sweeps Rules right down in the page Footer.

Even the burger menu at the top of the page doesn’t give you much, as the only selections there are Home, Promotions, and Help Center. Follow any of those, and you will now see some clickable links on various pages, but it borders on ‘too little, too late’ in my eyes.

Is there a Lucky Bits Vegas app to download?

It’s very much a case of ‘half done’ here. Lucky Bits Vegas has developed an app for Android users, which it seems you can only download via Google Play, as I couldn’t find a link on the brand’s website. There’s nothing new or exciting about it really, and Lucky Bits Vegas has yet to add any push notification options.

There’s no similar option for iOS users so far, but you can still play on the go by loading the Lucky Bits Vegas site via your mobile browser. You can also add a shortcut to the site by bookmarking the URL on your home screen in the usual way.

Payment options for GC purchases and SC redemptions

Unlike the standard payment methods I listed in my DimeSweeps review, Lucky Bits Vegas adds cryptocurrencies to its list of options. In fact, the brand actively encourages players to use crypto.

At present, you can still use Visa, Mastercard, Apple Pay and Google Pay for optional Game Coin purchases, but eligible Sweeps Coins can only be redeemed using one of the following cryptocurrencies:

Available Game Coin packages

There are typically around 10 Game Coin packages available to purchase in the Lucky Bits Vegas ‘Shop’, but the brand does seem to have a habit of changing them frequently, so I won’t list them here.

However, one thing I have noticed is frequent Game Coin package promotions. Currently, you can purchase a bundle which contains 220,000 Game Coins for $9.99, which represents 100% extra GC.

This package also includes 100 Diamonds, up to 12% SpinBack, and 52 free Sweeps Coins. So the moral of the story is that if you intend to make optional GC purchases, it’s best to wait for a promo like that to come along.

Sweeps Coin redemptions

As with all sweepstakes casinos, you can’t just redeem the free Sweeps Coins you collect through bonuses and promotions, you need to use them to play games first. Most sites have a 1x playthrough requirement for bonus SC, but at Lucky Bits Vegas you’ll have to play your Sweeps Coins three times before they become eligible for redemption.

So, there are basically four things to remember:

• All bonus Sweeps Coins have a 3x playthrough requirement attached
• You will need at least 100 eligible SC to make a redemption request
• You can only make a redemption request if you have a fully verified player account
• You can only redeem Sweeps Coins for cryptocurrency prizes

What games can you play at Lucky Bits Vegas?

Lucky Bits Vegas has a relatively small games library compared to the likes of DimeSweeps, and most other sweepstakes casinos that I’ve reviewed. That said, there is a decent variety of games among the 300+ you’ll find here, and the brand is adding new ones all the time. I’ll describe it as a work in progress, rather than defining Lucky Bits Vegas as a brand with few games.

On the plus side, Lucky Bits Vegas has clearly focused on quality over quantity. I was so happy to spot top game developers like Microgaming, BGaming and M2Play represented here, along with iconic live game provider, Evolution.

What can you do if you have a question or problem?

It’s time for me to move onto an important topic now - the availability and accessibility of customer support at Lucky Bits Vegas. To be perfectly frank, I found something of a mixed bag in this area, so I have good news, and not quite so good news to bring you.

First, to get it out of the way, here’s the slightly bad news - the Lucky Bits Vegas support team can only be contacted by using the email address provided, and replies can take up to 24 hours.

To access this facility, go to the Help Center first, and click on the support email address. Make sure that you include your username in the subject line of your email, then provide a detailed description of the issue you’ve experienced, and include screenshots if appropriate/applicable.

Now, I’ll move onto the good news. The chances of you needing to contact support are relatively small. The main part of the Help Center contains an extensive selection of FAQs and useful guides, which are split across three categories and sub-divided as follows:

1. Getting Started - Account verification, Game Coin purchases, and Sweeps Coin redemptions

2. Earning & Playing - Obtaining free Sweeps Coins, playthrough requirements, and legal states

3. Account & Safety - Responsible Play, Data Safety, and geolocation requirements

Each sub-division contains a wealth of information covering pretty much any topic relating to the Lucky Bits Vegas site that you care to imagine.

The Lucky Bits Vegas loyalty program

The Lucky Bits Vegas loyalty program is called ‘Prestige’ and it has seven tiers:

1. Novice
2. Harvester
3. Hodler
4. Minter
5. Premier
6. Elite
7. Moonshot

As a new player, I was enrolled at Novice level automatically. It works in the usual way, where you’ll collect points as you play games, but I can only assume this is another ‘work in progress’ as I was unable to find specific details about the rewards you receive at each level, it’s all pretty vague.

Furthermore, the rewards I could see were tied to two specific promotions: the SpinBack Bonus (more on that shortly), and the daily login bonus. Basically, your SpinBack bonus increases by a small percentage each time you level up, capped at 12% when you hit the top tier.

But the ‘enhanced daily bonus’ part only shows vague descriptions like “Moderate reward bump” which I found a little odd to say the least. I was also a little miffed when I discovered that frequent players are favored, inasmuch as certain rewards (undisclosed) are based on your gaming activity over the previous 30 to 45 days.

Promotions that are tied to Prestige

As mentioned above, two Lucky Bits Vegas promos are tied to the brand’s Prestige Loyalty program: the daily login bonus and the SpinBack bonus.

Daily login bonus

As a new player you’ll receive a daily login bonus of 1 Sweeps Coin for 30 days following registration. If you remember, that allows you to collect the full welcome bonus assuming you remember to login to collect it. After that the reward you receive depends on your Prestige level, but with no clear indication of exactly how that works, or what you’ll actually get.

SpinBack bonus

Following registration you get a complimentary 6% SpinBack bonus for 30 days. This bonus only includes your Sweeps Coin gameplay unfortunately. After that it reverts to 0% until you reach the Harvester tier of the Prestige rewards program where it increases to 2%, then increases each time you reach a new tier, up to a maximum of 12%.

Will Lucky Bits Vegas be the next sweepstakes casino you try?

Personally speaking, I’m a little on the fence when it comes to Lucky Bits Vegas. The brand has a generous welcome bonus of 20,000 Game Coins, 2 Sweeps Coins and 100 Diamonds delivered across 30 days. It also has an excellent games library considering that it only offers about 300 games, so I have no complaints there really.

Beyond that, there are quite a few areas of the site that need some improvement. There’s no denying the foundations are there, and the structure is gradually growing, but there’s still a fair bit that seems incomplete somehow. I believe Lucky Bits Vegas has the potential to be a great site, and I certainly have no overwhelming reason to suggest looking elsewhere.
