Quick verdict: How legit is the Fliff Social Sportsbook?
Fliff has been around for ages now, and I’ve been a faithful customer at this social sportsbook for years. So, I thought it was about time that I used my knowledge and experiences to give you a complete Fliff review.
If you read on, I’ll explain everything there is to know about this social sportsbook, including the awesome welcome bonus, the massive social sports collection, and the high-quality mobile apps. I’ll say from the start that this is certainly one of the best social sportsbooks you’ll find - regardless of what sports you follow.
Fliff is an established social sportsbook that lets members make picks on all the major leagues. You’re also not limited on the types of picks you can make with hundreds of options across all sports.
Players can make picks on social moneylines, social spreads, social totals and even social parlays, making Fliff one of the more comprehensive social sportsbooks out there. I’m also a fan of the fact they offer in-play social picks.
The welcome bonus of 5000 Fliff Coins and 1 Fliff Cash totally free is a generous start for making social picks and well worth checking out.
Is Fliff legit? Reviewing its core features
Other Fliff reviews I’ve looked at point towards this site being legit, and I agree fully. As you’ll see in this section below of my Fliff review, it has all the important underlying features that make a legitimate social sportsbook like responsible social gameplay tools, regulatory compliance, and customer support availability.
Social sportsbook compliance
Fliff is legit. I’ve got no doubts about that. I’ve been a customer here for years, and it’s always been one of my go-to social sportsbooks for NBA social picks. How do I know it’s legit? Well, it complies with US social sportsbook regulations. It does this by not allowing real money deposits or gameplay. Also, you can only ever make social picks using Fliff Coins or Fliff Cash, and no purchase is necessary to make social picks due to the range of free promos the apps offer.
Site and app security
Is Fliff safe? I’ve seen many people ask this question, so one of the first things I did for this Fliff review was look at the safety of the mobile apps and web-app version. From what I could see, HTTPS connectivity is used, and there was active SSL encryption, backed by an SSL certificate from Amazon RSA 2048 M03. I like that you can also enable additional account security controls if you want. For example, I always enable 2FA where possible to prevent fraud.
Payment method for Fliff Coin purchases and prize redemptions
Fliff is free to play at, and no purchase is necessary. However, it does have an optional Fliff Coin store where you can purchase Fliff Coin packages. Most of these include free Fliff Cash as a free bonus after the Fliff Coin purchase is completed. At the time of creating this Fliff review, the lowest Fliff Coin package was $1.99 for 5,000 Fliff Coins, and after the Fliff Coin purchase, you get 6 free Fliff Cash as a bonus.
I made several Fliff Coin purchases to test the process, and I found it to be smooth and secure. I had no reservations about putting my details in, and the virtual currencies were always delivered instantly. In terms of Fliff Coin purchase methods, you should be able to see Visa, MasterCard, AMEX, Bank Transfer, and Apple Pay.
I’ve no doubts you’d also like to know what payment methods are available for prize redemptions. But first, note that you’ll need to use your Fliff Cash once and collect at least 50 Fliff Cash in winnings to be eligible for prizes. Once you’ve met these terms, you can then proceed to send redemption requests via gift cards or cash prizes (bank transfers).

Responsible social gameplay
This social sportsbook has a dedicated responsible social gaming section, which gives you advice on how to stay in control. I also love that you’ve got responsible tools like Fliff Coin purchase limits, social pick limits, session reminders, cool-off periods, and full self-exclusion controls. I like that they take responsible social gameplay seriously, and that you have multiple tools to help stay in control and keep your social gaming fun.
Customer support availability
For support, you should be able to access a live chat only when you’ve created your Fliff account. I tested this a few times, and I was always pleased with the speed of the responses and the friendliness of the human reps. There’s also a pretty big help center with loads of FAQs and email support. I’d use the live chat where possible, as I found email response times to be much slower.
My experiences with the Fliff social sportsbook setup
After creating my Parlayplay review, I made sure that a main priority for Fliff was to check the social sports setup. This includes the available sports, the types of social picks you can make, and the in-play social picks section, if there is one. I have to say, I think this is where Fliff really comes into its own, and I was incredibly impressed with what they offer.

Many US social sportsbooks stick to the US pro leagues like the NBA and NFL, but Fliff goes one step further. It by no means has the same amount of sports covered as real money sportsbooks, but I was still pleased to see what they offered. At the time of writing this Fliff review, they supported the following sports and competitions:
| Sport | Leagues |
| Basketball | NBA, WNBA, KBL |
| Football | NFL, NCAA, CFL |
| Hockey | NHL, NCAA |
| Soccer | MLS, UEFA Champions League, EPL, La Liga, Bundesliga, Serie A, Ligue 1, Liga Professional, Super Lig, A-League, Primeira League. |
| Baseball | MLB, NPB, KBO |
| MMA | UFC |
| Tennis | ATP, WTA, Grand Slam |
| Boxing | Bouts |
I’m a lifelong NBA fan, so the NBA support was all I cared about, and they have all the pre-season, regular season, playoffs, and finals games, which is awesome. However, I still checked out the other sports, and in most cases, you’ve got support for the main top-tier leagues and events, plus some secondary leagues.
For example, with soccer, you’ve got all the top-tier leagues from around the world, including in the USA, Europe, Australia, and South America, plus some of the second-tier leagues like the English Championship and Serie B. Soccer has the best support and the biggest competition variety, but I don’t think any of the other sports are lacking either.
The tennis coverage was also a standout feature for me as they have social picks for all the ATP and WTA 250 and 500 tournaments, plus, of course, the four Grand Slams.
Does it offer a good social pick variety?
A social sportsbook can offer all the sports in the world, but if it doesn’t have a good offering of social picks, then I’m out. Luckily, this is not the case with Fliff, and I have to say that it has some of the best social pick variety I’ve seen. I believe that regardless of what types of social picks you like to make - whether it’s simple social moneylines, or complex player and team social props, you’ll find something.
You’ve got the core social pick options of:
- Social moneyline.
- Social spread.
- Social total (over/under).
Plus, you can make social parlays and social same game parlays. I was really impressed with the social pick variety for individual matches, though. For example, when writing this Fliff review, I checked out the social picks for the NBA season opener between the Houston Rockets and Oklahoma City Thunder. Man, did they have some good variety! Aside from the standard options, I also saw these social picks:
- Player points.
- Player rebounds.
- 3pters made.
- Team points.
- Team rebounds.
- Half and quarter stats.
- Total score social picks.
I’m not kidding when I say that for virtually all the NBA games, there are 100+ social picks you can make! There was a similar amount of social picks for the other sports, too.
In-play social pick setup at Fliff
Fliff also has a decent social in-play setup for all the sports it supports. Compared to some of the other social sportsbooks I’ve tested, I thought the in-play setup was a little basic. This is because you only get a simple game overview and a live score reel, but I couldn’t see anything like a 2D game render or play-by-play coverage.
Getting started with Fliff - exploring the welcome bonus
As with other sites like Fliff, this social sportsbook gives you a welcome bonus of virtual currencies so you can start making social picks immediately. For Fliff, the two virtual currencies are Fliff Coins and Fliff Cash, with Fliff Cash being redeemable for prizes if you meet the eligibility requirements. As a new customer, you can get the following when you sign up here:
5,000 Fliff Coins and 1 Fliff Cash.
Compared to other social sportsbooks, this is a pretty good welcome bonus, and it will give you plenty of virtual currencies to make social picks with. If you want to get this new customer offer, you can complete the following steps:
-
Use our Fliff banners or links to open the web app.
-
Click the sign-up button.
-
Enter the required personal details.
-
Tick the box to accept the T&Cs.
-
Finish the registration form.
-
Verify your email.
-
Use your new Fliff login.
The Fliff login process and registration took me a few minutes, and it’s basically a step-by-step process, so you can’t go wrong. As soon as you’ve signed up and logged in, you should get your 5,000 Fliff Coins and 1 Fliff Cash.
I recommend completing the L2 KYC check as soon as you can, too. You will need to fully verify your ID if you want to use your Fliff Cash and work towards potential Fliff Cash redemptions. This is annoying, I know, but you’ll only have to do it once, so get it out of the way.
| Vertical | Bonus | Min. Purchase | Can be redeemed | Bonus Code | Claim Bonus |

Other promotions for existing users
This social sportsbook does have other promos too, and here are some of the bonus promotions I found:
- Claim free Fliff Coins every 2 hours
- Get free virtual currencies when you log in every day
- Be active on the site and obtain XP to get more rewards
- Refer friends to Fliff and gain more XP based on their Fliff Coin purchases
I found most of the promotions require no Fliff promo code. You can read more about them in our Fliff promo reviews.
Is Fliff social sportsbook easy to use?
Like with my Prizepicks review, I took ages looking at the usability of Fliff to see how it works and how easy it is to make social picks and manage your account. Bear in mind that, like other social sportsbooks, Fliff is aimed at mobile usage, so there’s no desktop site, but two awesome mobile apps for Android and iOS.
🚫 Fliff Doesn’t Have a Desktop Website
The first thing I noticed is that you can’t use Fliff on your computer unless you have some type of mobile emulator. This is because it doesn’t have a native desktop version of its social sportsbook.
Instead, the desktop site is basically just a landing page. You can click our links, and the landing page will open, and from here, you can download the mobile apps or the mobile web app version, but you will not be able to see any of the sports categories, for example. I didn’t mind this at all, as I usually make social picks from my smartphone anyway while I’m watching live NBA games.
📱 There is a Browser Web-App
The great thing about Fliff, though, is that you have a mobile web-app if you don’t want to download the iOS or Android app. This is essentially a mobile-browser version of the site that loads in a browser like Chrome or Safari. I used this to create my Fliff login before downloading the apps, and it works fine. It has exactly the same layout as the iOS and Android apps, and I couldn’t really tell the difference.
📲 There Are Also Two Mobile Apps
While the web app works great, I think you’re best downloading either the iOS or Android app for your smartphone. The Google Play Store version has over 100,000 downloads, while the App Store version is ranked #28 in sports, and has a 4.8-star rating from over 140,000 reviews! This is easily one of the best-rated social sportsbook apps I’ve seen in a long time.
I’m an Android fanboy, so I used the Google Play Store version on my Samsung Galaxy and it works perfectly. I love how you have the main navigation along the bottom, and a side-scrolling menu at the top to browse the different social sports categories. It’s just easy to use! You can manage your social pick slip easily, view your virtual currency balance quickly, and the in-play setup is also excellent.

My verdict - is Fliff a top contender?
I hope you’ve had as much fun reading this Fliff review as I did creating it! I believe that this social sportsbook remains one of the best options available to US customers. It’s just got all the features I expect, and I love the sports coverage. As an NBA fan, I had all the social picks I could ever want to make, but I think that global sports fans have plenty to go at too, whether it’s top-flight soccer leagues like the EPL and Ligue 1, or ATP and WTA tennis tournaments, and the Grand Slams like Wimbledon.
It’s a little annoying that there’s no desktop version of the site, but with mobile gaming being so prevalent today, I don’t think this matters, and the quality of the three mobile apps definitely makes up for this. Overall, Fliff gives you everything you could need from a social sportsbook, and I definitely recommend it. So, why not use our banners to sign up today, and get cracking with your 5,000 Fliff Coin and 1 Fliff Cash welcome bonus?
