What’s the fuss with Gold Coins and Sweeps Coins?
As a sweepstakes brand, Casinio moves to a different beat - a Gold Coins (GC) and Sweeps Coins (GC) beat! Here, there are no deposits or traditional gaming. No biggie though! You can get stuck into some free casino-style gaming.
Gold Coins are for casual gameplay. You can unlock free GC with most promos. Plus, if you are cool with GC purchases, then there are plenty of GC bundles on the menu. On the other hand, Sweeps Coins is the OG virtual currency. SC winnings can be redeemed for real-world prizes, such as gift cards. Don’t forget, though - you have to comply with the deets.
Make sure you play through SC winnings at least once, and have 100 SC for a prize redemption. The dope thing about Sweeps Coins is that finding some is a breeze. Daily login offers and mail-in bonuses (more on these pretty soon) are two ways to grab some free Sweeps Coins.

Existing player promos - Get your hands on more perks
I did not find a referral program on the site. It is a bit of a bummer. But the site is new, so maybe one will become available pretty soon. Keep an eye on my review for more details.
For now, the existing player perks include daily login prizes, a mail-in bonus and VIP rewards. I dug these bonuses, especially the VIP prizes, as there is lotsa perks. Here is the scoop on each of these:
Daily login
The login bonus caught my eye as it is progressive. The longer your streak, the bigger the prizes! For example, on day 1, you can land 20,000 GC. Then the following day, it could be more GC and some SC. The nitty-gritty here is to log in every day. Otherwise, you drop back down to the basic day 1 offer.
AMoE
You should holler Casinio if you wanna build your SC play amount balance. Send through a handwritten SC letter request to the PO Box address. If greenlit, you will bag 2 free SC. Compared to my time at other platforms, 2 free SC is a fair amount. Especially since most brands only give 1 Sweeps Coin.
VIP programs
The VIP program has several tiers with multiple prizes. I was in the dark about the requirements to move tiers, but a support agent had my back. You must regularly play casino-style games with your GC and SC.
Casinio will then use its own loyalty formula calculator to determine your tier. The prizes include 24/7 support, faster SC prize redemption times, higher SC prize redemption limits and daily coinback.
I clocked a Level Up program too. Build XP by playing sweepstakes games, move up the levels and pocket GC, SC and free spins. For instance, level 2 requires 100 XP and nets you 5,000 GC.

Facts and 411 on the sign up perks at Casinio
If you want a rundown of the important facts of the rewards, I have you covered. Peek these FAQs that recap the main bonus information:
1. Can anyone claim the sign up offer?
No. Only new players can grab the new player promo. As covered in my Casinio review, you must be 21+ and reside in a permitted US state.
2. Are you allowed to trigger the rewards more than once?
No. The welcome offer can only be unlocked once. Thereafter, feel free to snag any existing player promotions, such as the mail-in bonus.
3. Are you forced to accept the 200% first GC purchase promo?
This promo is optional. You do not have to make GC purchases at the brand. If you don’t wanna accept this offer, then just don’t make a GC purchase. Easy as that, guys and gals!
4. Can you redeem prizes with Gold Coins?
Gold Coins are for casual gameplay. Only Sweeps Coins winnings can be redeemed for prizes. Also, GC and SC can never be transferred or exchanged. Sweepstakes casinos don’t roll like that.
Dial in and use my tips to have a blast with your rewards
For a good ol’ time at Casinio, here are some pointers when playing sweepstakes games with your bonuses:
📝 Prepare Your Documents
Lock in and get your documents ready before signing up. Since you have to complete the KYC checks to unlock the additional sign up reward, plan ahead. Make sure you have electronic copies of your proof of ID and address. Submit these ASAP after registering.
⏰ Be Proactive
Be proactive and set an alarm to log in regularly. By doing this, you can maximize the progressive login bonus, and build a longer streak. Thus, more GC and SC goodies.
💰 Save Your SC
Don’t be a palooka and waste your SC. Keep this for when you understand the in-game mechanics and rules. I recommend using Gold Coins to try out the different casino-style games. Then switch to promotional play when you have the gist of things.
📱 Follow on Socials
Keep an eye on the socials for even more promotions. Follow Casinio on Instagram and slide into the DMs. Ask questions about upcoming bonuses, so you are in the loop.
🎁 GC Purchase Streak
I know there is a GC purchase streak promo for being consistent with GC purchases. However, avoid falling into a GC bundle hole. Relax and don’t crash out by only purchasing GC packages. There are plenty of ‘no-purchase’ promos, too. So, focus on those and only make GC purchases if you are comfortable doing so.
Conclusion - Casinio ‘no-purchase’ bonuses are pure fire!
With two ‘no-purchase’ welcome offers, the bonuses at Casinio are pure fire! The best part is that claiming these offers is a cake walk. However, you havta complete the verification and KYC checks. So dial in from the get-go and get these out of the way immediately.
I also liked the existing player promos, although there’s still room for improvement, particularly when it comes to the VIP program. Casinio could be more transparent about how its loyalty system works and what players need to do to progress through the VIP levels. With clearer guidelines in place, its rewards program could become an even stronger selling point. Ready to see what you can get? Click any of the Casinio banners on this page, sign up, and complete the required verification steps to unlock up to 200,000 GC + 4 SC!
