Quick verdict: How legit is the Caesars sportsbook?

Caesars is renowned for its grand casinos like Caesars Palace, but I think it also has one of the best online sportsbooks. I’ve been a fan for years, so I’ve used my knowledge to bring you a complete Caesars review.

If you read on, I’ll explain why this online betting site stands out, including its impressive sportsbook setup, the generous welcome bonus, and the reliable apps. You’ll definitely not be disappointed, as this is easily one of the best US sportsbooks out there.

      Andre Miller View profile

Caesars Sportsbook blends the brand’s iconic casino legacy with a polished, easy-to-use betting platform. New users can claim a unique welcome bonus - bet $1 and get 20 profit boost tokens, which is perfect for stretching out early wagers.

With support for 20+ sports, extensive prop betting options, and live betting features like real-time stats and 2D visuals, there’s strong depth across the board. The mobile apps are fast and intuitive, and payments start as low as $5.

Add in 24/7 customer support, robust responsible gambling tools, and top-tier licensing, and Caesars stands out as one of the most reliable sportsbooks in the US.

Reviewing the Caesars Sportsbook betting setup

Join in the action of Caesars sports games

      Experience live betting with Ceasars

Let’s start off this Caesars review by looking at the sportsbook and what you can do on it. I’m thoroughly impressed with its offering, and I think it does a fine job of giving you betting variety for a host of popular sports.

      Supported sports

Whenever I’m creating a review like this, the first sportsbook feature I look for is supported sports. At Caesars, you can bet on the following markets:

Aussie Rules, Auto, Baseball, Basketball, Boxing, Cycling, Football, Golf, Hockey, Lacrosse, Olympics, Rodeo, Rugby League, Rugby Union, Soccer, Table Tennis, Tennis, MMA.

I don’t think this is the largest selection I’ve seen, and there are some niche sports like Snooker, Futsal, and Handball missing. However, all the popular sports and competitions are covered, and this site does a great job when it comes to the US pro leagues, including the NFL, NBA, MLB, NHL, MLS, and college sports.

      In-play betting at Caesars

Like I did with my FanDuel review, I want to briefly explore the Caesars live betting service too. As far as I can see, Caesars sportsbook offers live betting for ALL its sports. Whenever I was logged on to create this Caesars sportsbook review, I saw different live options to bet on via the dedicated live betting tab.

Both the mobile and desktop live betting setups work great, but I prefer the mobile app version as the layout is nice and compact. For each game, you usually get a host of statistics both live, and pre-match, and there is normally a 2D game render that shows the flow of play.

These features help with your betting decisions and give you more insight if you’re unable to watch the game live. Speaking of, this sportsbook also has a decent amount of live streaming, but you do have to be logged in to your Caesars account to watch any streams.

      Betting variety

The range of sports and the competitions is fine, but I think Caesars really excel when it comes to the actual betting options for individual games. You can make the following types of standard bets for pretty much every market:

      • Single picks.
      • Parlays.
      • Same Game Parlays.
      • Pre-match.
      • In-play.

I expect every sportsbook to offer these bets, so that’s not impressive, but what is, is the range of props bets and special bets for matches. Regardless of what sport or event you follow, I’m confident you’ll be able to find plenty of betting options to suit your strategies.

For example, I’ve been an NBA fan for ages, so I mainly make NBA bets at Caesars and other sportsbooks. The NBA regular season is starting again, so when I created this Caesars review, I checked out some props options for a few matches. For a game between the OKC Thunder and Rockets, I saw the following bets:

      • Over/under total points.
      • Halftime/quarter results.
      • Team stats (like points, rebounds, and assists).
      • Player stats (like 3pters made, and blocks).
      • Handicap bets.

This is just a small sample of what you can do – the major sports and competitions like the NBA, NFL, and MLB all have hundreds of betting options for each game.

My thoughts on the Caesars sportsbook welcome bonus

I’ve created a complete Caesars promo code review that explains all the bonuses in detail, but I want to share the welcome bonus with you, so you know what to expect if you sign up and create an account. For the sportsbook, you can get the following welcome bonus:

Bet $1, double your winnings on your next 20 bets.

You will need a Caesars promo code for this, which you can see when you click on the banners or links on this page. Essentially, you sign up, make your first $1 bet, and then get 20 100% winnings boost tokens, which can be used for up to a maximum $25 bet each. I like this welcome bonus as it gives you real value, and still allows you to be flexible with the bets you make.

Just be aware that there can be different welcome bonuses depending on the state you register from, so always read the terms and conditions.

      Other promotions available at Caesars

The welcome bonus is the main attraction here, but Caesars sportsbook has plenty of other promos, including the following:

      • Caesars rewards programs.
      • Special bets picked by the Caesars staff.
      • Million Dollar Parlay Payday contests.
      • Winnings boost tokens.

The sportsbook is packed with promos and rewards, and the Caesars Rewards program has built a strong reputation as it can provide perks and benefits for the Caesars resorts and physical casinos.

Using the Caesars sportsbook site and apps

Like in my DraftKings review, I wanted to make sure that Caesars sportsbook was easy to use. I find it frustrating when a site has poor usability, or there’s no mobile app. In the case of this operator, I was impressed with both the desktop site and mobile apps.

💻 The Desktop Website Works Fine

The Caesars sportsbook looks great on the desktop website, and I like the classic white and green color scheme. The white background and darker colored text make everything really easy to read, and I just think the site looks fresh, clean, and modern. The only thing I don’t like about it is the fact that the sportsbook doesn’t take up the entire width of your screen. This means there is a lot of wasted white space.

For navigation, you can see all the sports categories along the left-hand side, and I like that you can expand each one to show the different leagues and events that are supported. Along the top you also have the most popular sports highlighted like the NFL, NBA, and MLB, plus any potential betting offers or special bets.

Whether you’re a seasoned betting pro, or a newcomer to the scene, I think you’ll easily be able to understand how the site works and how to make bets. You can see your bet slip info on the right-hand side, and to say that there is a lot of wasted space, Caesars still does a pretty good job of jamming in all the betting info.

From a technical viewpoint, the Caesars sportsbook works great too. I’ve not experienced any page loading errors or seen any missing information, and the page loading speeds are acceptable.

📱 The Mobile Apps Are Incredible

I’m a big fan of mobile betting, so I mainly used the Caesars betting app as opposed to the desktop site. You can download the app from the Google Play Store for Android devices, or the App Store for iPhones, and I think both versions are fantastic. They take up virtually no space on your phone, and the installation process is simple.

I like the change to the sportsbook layout for the mobile and I think they’ve done a much better job of using all the available space, while still making the app NOT feel cluttered. The sports navigation and betting setup work brilliantly, and it only takes me a few taps to find the NBA games or European soccer games I want to bet on.

It’s also worth noting the quality of the mobile in-play betting setup. I’ve used it multiple times when I’ve been watching live Ligue 1 and La Liga matches, and the odds refresh quickly to reflect the action that’s unfolding. The only drawback about the app is that I can’t figure out how to make it remember my login details! Perhaps this isn’t possible, and it’s just a security feature to make sure you have to enter your details each time.

Is Caesars legit? Checking its core features

For my BetMGM review, I made sure to look at the legitimacy of the site, so I’ll do the same for Caesars. I’ve got no reservations about this operator - Caesars and Caesars Palace is one of the most iconic gaming brands in the US, and I’m confident the online sportsbook is legit.

      Licensing

No matter which version of the sportsbook you’re using, it’s licensed. I’ve checked each of the different versions of Caesars and found a relevant gambling license for the state it is operating in. For example, the West Virginia sportsbook has a gambling license from the West Virginia Lottery Commission. Nothing I’ve seen from my time using this site or creating my Caesars review has made me question the legitimacy of the brand or its offerings.

      Customer support

The customer support is very accessible at Caesars sportsbook. If you need help, you can simply click on the “support” link from the top menu, and you’ll see a link to the live chat, email support, or the online help center. I think you should stick with the live chat as I’ve always had great success with it, and the response times are generally within a few minutes.

From what I can see, the live chat is available 24/7, although this might vary from state to state. Email support is OK, but you can expect to be waiting over an hour for a reply. Lastly, if you want to get help yourself, the online help center is definitely worth a try. It's fully searchable, and has loads of topics relating to your account, payments, house rules, and promotions.

      Live chat: Available
      Phone: 1-800-986-9248
      Help Center: https://caesars.com/sportsbook-and-casino

      Security

I’ve used the Caesars betting app and desktop sites many times, and I’ve always felt secure. When creating this Caesars review, I checked the sportsbook site, and there’s SSL encryption that’s backed by an SSL certificate from Amazon RSA 2048 M02.

There are also the documents and extra info I expect to see, like the terms of service, house rules, responsible gambling, and privacy policy. I recommend checking out the account section too, as you should be able to enable additional security measures like 2FA.

      Payment methods

The banking setup at Caesars is fantastic, and it's great to see that they have minimum deposit limits of $5 and minimum withdrawal limits of $1. This applies to all available sportsbook states. For payments, you should be able to make deposits using the following methods:

      • Visa.
      • MasterCard.
      • Discover.
      • AMEX.
      • PayNearMe.
      • Apple Pay.
      • Venmo.
      • PayPal.
      • Kiosk Deposits.

Please note that there can be state restrictions on the payment methods, but you’ll most likely always be able to use Visa or MasterCard. The deposits I’ve made here have always been processed instantly and without any fees. Similarly, for withdrawals, you can expect your payments to be processed within 24 hours.

      Responsible gambling

I believe everyone should take responsible gambling seriously, and Caesars sportsbook does a great job of helping you do that. There’s a responsible gambling section in the help center, plus plenty of advice and reminders throughout the site. While these things are great, I also love the range of responsible gambling tools they provide, including:

      • Deposit limits.
      • Spend limits.
      • Daily time limits.
      • Cool-off periods.
      • Self-exclusion.

Any sportsbook I use, I always set deposit limits, and daily time limits where possible. I think these are some of the simplest ways you can stay in control. Even if you don’t use them, please make sure you take the time to understand how each of the tools works.

Final verdict - do I recommend Caesars sportsbook?

That wraps up this Caesars Sportsbook review, and I think it should be clear that I do indeed recommend it. I’ve never had a bad experience using the Caesars sportsbook, and I maintain that it’s one of the best US online sportsbooks available. You’ve got superb support for all the main US sports, and it helps that it’s an official NFL partner, so if you’re an NFL fan, I think this could easily be your number one pick.

Whichever sport you want to try, I think you’ll have fun. To finish, remember that you can use the links or banners featured on this page and sign up to get your sportsbook welcome bonus.
