Quick verdict: How legit is Betr Picks?

At the time of writing this Betr Picks review, the brand is available in 34 US states, excluding Washington, Hawaii, Idaho, Nevada, Montana, Iowa, Missouri, Louisiana, Mississippi, Michigan, Pennsylvania, Maine, New York, Connecticut, New Jersey, and Maryland.

I also spent time critiquing the security measures at the brand and was impressed that Betr Picks has focused on player safety. The Betr website is a DFS information kit
A heads up, don’t expect to play DFS contests on the Betr Picks website. As covered in many Betr reviews, there is no desktop gameplay, and the website is more of an informational tool. Yes, there is a Betr Picks website, but the site only covers the fundamentals of daily fantasy sports at the brand, including helpful tips, gameplay guides, and general information.
However, you should always read through these guides as there are important details. I liked how simple yet effective the website design is. The black and purple colors work well, and the availability map is easy to understand. You should look up the map to find the available US states where the brand is active. There are also several banners on the homepage that cover all the main DFS information kits, and when I navigated each section, all pages loaded quickly, and there was no clutter.
The Betr apps transforms the DFS mobile experience
Similar to the lack of gameplay on the desktop site, you cannot use the Betr Picks mobile-optimized website for DFS gameplay. Like the desktop site, the mobile site provides players with an overview of Betr Picks and how DFS contests work. The only way to enter fantasy sports contests at Betr Picks is by downloading the official Android and iOS apps.
The apps are available from the Google Play and Apple App Stores and are free to download. The Betr Picks apps transform the DFS mobile experience, and both apps are user-friendly and allow you to play on the go. However, if you still need to contact the team, then you can use live chat, email, or social media.
The live chat provides the quickest responses, and after signing in, you can click the live chat icon, and an agent should connect with you within a minute or two. From my experience, the live agents are friendly and provide accurate and prompt responses. If you have detailed queries and need to send some screenshots, then use the email support. While not as fast as the live chat, you should get a reply within a few hours. Betr Picks is also very active on social media channels like Instagram, and you can send a message to the official channel to get some help.

Who says fantasy sports can get boring by only playing one game mode? Even though Betr Picks only has a Pick’em game mode, the gameplay is still enjoyable, largely thanks to the unique features. The Pick’em game mode follows the traditional DFS rules, and you must pick players to either have less or more than their specific market line, for example, Travis Kelce to have over 55.5 Receiving Yards. The Pick’em game mode is available for most leagues and sports, including the NFL, NBA, NHL, MLB, and the EPL.
Depending on which state you are playing from, you can get up to 10 different selections (Betr Picks Pick’em contests start from two selections) for your entry with up to 2,000x your entry cost. Generally, if you are taking a higher alternative line, then the multiplier will grow quicker, but is always capped at either 1,000x or 2,000x, depending on the Betr Picks state rules.
Boosted and Anchor Picks 🏅
You can play DFS contests with your Betr Bucks or with your real money funds. Besides the available fewer or more selections, there are also boosted and anchor picks. With boosted picks, Betr Picks enhances the odds for specific selections (for example, Jayson Tatum's rebounds line could be boosted to over 6.5). With anchor picks, the specific market line is significantly reduced (for example, Jalen Hurts' standard passing TD line is 2.5, but Betr Picks has the line at 0.5), so that selection anchors your entry, and generally always has a better win ratio.

Another unique option is edge picks or combos, which allows you to pick players from the same team, where correlation in performance is possible (for example, if you take the Cowboys TE Jake Ferguson over 35.5 Receiving Yards as one selection and another selection in your entry is Cowboys QB Dak Prescott over 255.5 Passing Yards). Please note that when selecting boosted, anchor, and edge picks, your multiplier does not improve as much as standard single selections.
Pick’em Perfect and Dynamic Play 🎮
There are two types of entries for the Pick’em game mode: Perfect and Dynamic Play. With Perfect Play, all selections from your entry must be correct, and you will receive the full payout. With Dynamic, you can get a few entries wrong and still get a payout. For example, with a five-selection contest, you will also receive a smaller payout if you get three or four correct selections on your DFS entry.
Peer-to-Peer Group Play 👫
Another unique feature of the Betr Picks DFS contests is that for every entry, you are also entered into peer-to-peer group play at no additional cost. Based on your previous contests, you are grouped into an experience level: Rookie, Veteran, and All-Star with other players, and you all compete for the top spot. The player who finishes with the most correct picks for their specific DFS entry will win an additional Group Play multiplier bonus reward.

As you can see, even without a community feature or prize pools, the DFS experience is still enjoyable at Betr Picks. As long as you study your picks thoroughly and the players are locked in on the field, you should have fun playing DFS.
