ProphetX tries to impress in many ways, starting with a $75 trading credit for new traders. It also offers a $25 referral bonus, Android and iOS apps, and a flexible payment structure. Plus, you can now trade politics markets.
All through my ProphetX prediction markets review, I can’t help but feel the site is trying to make up for having limited politics markets. Trading sports contracts felt natural on ProphetX, thanks to its responsive interface and live trading feature. Not offering live customer support is a bummer, but with its NASCAR and F1 coverage, I’m giving it a pass.
Get a sweet welcome bonus at ProphetX
The first page of ProphetX’s website greets you with a massive banner advertising its $50 for $75 welcome bonus. Seriously, you can’t miss it. It’s a simple bonus: sign up, spend $50 on trades, and get $75 over the next two weeks. $25 drops immediately, and the rest drops in two $25 installments in the next two weeks – lame, but tolerable. The $75 comes as ‘Incentive Funds’, which you must use once before cashing out.
You only start receiving the bonus after trading at least $50. However, you have 30 days from your sign-up date to meet this $50 trading requirement. If your cumulative trades don’t reach $50 one month after you register, you lose the bonus. So stay on your toes if you’re going for this offer.
There are other rules surrounding the welcome bonus, so consider checking the bonus terms for details. One thing you should remember is that trades above $0.80 don’t count towards the $50 requirement. If you entered a $50 trade at $0.85 per contract, for example, you don’t get the bonus. The contract price has to be at or under $0.80 to qualify.
Remember the risks: you’ll lose money if your predictions are wrong, so be safe, and stick to your budget.
Trade event contracts on ProphetX’s website or mobile apps

Access Prophet X on your mobile devices
ProphetX is a hangout spot for sports lovers, and you can tell right away. If including a moneyline column on each event doesn’t give it away, then you can see the two sidebars. On the left is an “All Leagues” list, including pretty much every popular sport in the US. The right sidebar houses the order ticket, which conveniently refers to orders with multiple contracts as ‘parlays’.
I initially signed up through the website because I started this review on a desktop. However, I had to download an Android or iOS app to trade on my smartphone. Yep, the site is just a landing page – which is lame if you were hoping to trade on a 4k monitor like I was. But if you were hoping to scroll and trade on the go, well, ProphetX is a paradise.
Predict sports events with limited politics event contracts
ProphetX occupies a unique space in the prediction trading market, alongside rivals like Novig. Like Novig, the app mostly lets you trade sports contracts. However, it also throws in some political markets, making it a crude mashup of Novig and PredictIt. In a way, ProphetX is a jack of two trades, but it masters at least one.
Sports – Thorough sports coverage with motorsports markets
My Novig prediction markets review had plenty of praise for the site, but ProphetX is in hot pursuit. For one, it offers various leagues, and there are even some political markets I’ll mention later. As for available leagues, you get pro and college football, basketball, baseball, and hockey. It also covers the most popular tennis tournaments, including the ATP Beijing and Japan Open.
As a sucker for motorsport, ProphetX’s F1 and NASCAR coverage has me sold. You simply don’t get that on Novig. However, the way the site displays available markets can be a bit confusing. As a sports fan, you want an organized list to help you get around. Listing NBA and NBA Futures separately, while including politics on the same list, simply doesn’t do the job.
Politics – Surface level US politics coverage
ProphetX’s politics markets seemed like an afterthought. I missed them entirely when I initially checked out the site. It’s easy to miss, hidden away in the left sidebar with a long list of the sports and leagues it covers.
You also don’t get lots of markets in the politics category; just US election results and Congress balance of power. It’s weaksauce, and I wouldn’t stick with this one if you’re going deep into political predictions. You can check my PredictIt prediction markets review instead; that actually gives you options.

Access flexible, instant deposits and quick payouts
ProphetX is more flexible than most similar sites with payments. You can fund your account with debit cards, Apple Pay, Google Pay, and cash, thanks to its PayNearMe integration. It also accepts EDGE Boost, crypto, and wire transfers. The site processes all deposits instantly except for wire transfers, which may take up to 72 hours. I wouldn’t recommend a wire unless you’re depositing over $5,000, as the site mentions it’s reserved for large deposits.
On the flip side, the site only supports debit cards, paper checks, Aeropay online banking, and wire transfers for payouts. Most payouts usually arrive within one to five business days, except for paper checks. Bank transfers and debit cards are usually the quickest; the site even offers instant payouts for some banks. Wire transfers take a bit longer, sometimes up to 72 hours. However, paper checks delay the most, as they may take up to 14 days to ship.
Helpful support, but pick up the pace a bit
Whenever I see a question mark button labeled “Support” on a site, one thing comes to mind is live chat. I clicked on ProphetX’s floating support button expecting that, only to be greeted with a form. To access support, you’ll need to enter your name, email address, and message, and then wait for a response.
I can live with that, but the wait for a response to queries is quite lame. When I inquired about using credit cards for deposits, I had to wait for almost an hour to get a response – ain’t nobody got time for that. My follow-up email received quicker attention, but it was still nowhere close to instant. Compare this experience to competing sites with live chat, and you just want a bit more.
Legit prediction markets site in most states
In 2026, ProphetX received approval from the Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC) to register as a Designated Contract Market (DCM). This green light makes it a federally regulated prediction market site, available in all states except Massachusetts, Maryland, Michigan, Nevada, New York, and Ohio.
Apart from federal oversight, the site implements several account and financial security measures. For one, it keeps funds separate from operating capital to protect traders’ funds. It also commits to transparency and requires ID checks for compliance and account security.
Invite a friend, get $25 in trading credits
You can invite your prediction-trading friends to ProphetX for a $25 referral bonus. The terms are simple: you get a referral code once you sign up. To receive the bonus, someone needs to sign up using your code or link and deposit at least $50 at once. Then, they have to trade with the entirety of that deposit within 30 days.
There’s something in it for them as well; the $25 bonus goes both ways. What’s more, that $25 referral bonus only applies to your first referral. The bonus increases by $5 with every new person you invite, with a $50 cap.
Not bad, right? It’s one of the best referral bonuses I’ve seen. Usually sites only give you scraps, but you can get some proper treats for being a brand ambassador for ProphetX.
Conclusion – Trade sports contracts with limited political markets
ProphetX is good at what it does, which is sports predictions, offering even niche markets missing at many similar sites. The politics angle felt forced and unnecessary, especially as there aren’t even that many markets anyway. However, since it doesn’t have to give up any sports to add it, it doesn’t bother me.
The site’s bonuses are good; $50 for $75 is a competitive welcome bonus, and the incremental referral bonus is a first. The customer support should be better; even without live chat, I shouldn’t have to wait an hour for responses. However, if the site is keeping NASCAR and F1 markets, it’s only fair to cut it some slack on this end.
You can click the on-page banners to start trading right away. Just remember that you’ll have to download the app first if you’re on a smartphone.
