With Gemini Predictions only launching in late 2025, this exchange is a relative rookie and, as such, it drops the ball now and again. That said, there was still plenty for me to get excited about in this Gemini review.

As you’ll read in more detail shortly, I was especially impressed with the design and usability of the platform, which has to make it one of the more attractive prediction sites out there. You’ll also find a wide selection of markets, taking in sports, crypto, commodities, culture, politics, tech and weather, and there’s even a decent sign-up bonus.

      Bonus offers at Gemini Predictions

One area that Gemini Predictions may have to work on at the training pitch is their selection of promotions. At the time of writing, I was unable to find a Gemini promo code, and there was also no sign of a refer-a-friend program or a VIP program, which are commonly found at similar sites.

However, there is a very decent welcome offer currently available in which you can get $20 in bonus Bitcoin if you sign up and place $100 worth of trades. It doesn’t matter whether the trades win or lose, which gives it the edge over a ‘refund’ offer, and once you’ve been credited with the Bitcoin, you can do whatever you like with it, including holding it or exchanging it for a different currency.

The only thing to bear in mind here is that the Bitcoin is only guaranteed to be worth $20 when credited. As with the Cowboys’ league position, crypto prices can go down as well as up.

A slam dunk of a design at Gemini Predictions

One of the biggest strengths of Gemini’s new Predictions platform is its design, which is both professional-looking and attractive.

The site uses a common color scheme of a black background with white text, but this is considerably livened up by the presence of colorful icons illustrating each individual market. These are tailored specifically to the event and could be anything from flags to logos and even famous politicians. It’s a small touch, but it really helps to elevate the design.

From a usability perspective, they also have an edge compared to similar sites, such as the one covered in my review of Rolr. This is partly due to the easy navigation – with clear and logical menus taking you from one category to the next – and partly due to the presence of a multiplier (e.g. x2.3), placed alongside the market probabilities. It shouldn’t be underestimated how helpful this small addition is, as it immediately makes the math easier to work out when looking at your potential returns.

Touchdown! There’s a great app too

In addition to the desktop website, which I’m a big fan of, Gemini Predictions is also available via the Gemini Markets app. Just like the perfect Mahomes pass, this too is a thing of great beauty.

The formatting is just right for the smaller screen, and when I checked it out, I found it to be glitch-free.

What’s more, there’s absolutely no need to rely on my opinion, because it’s been very well-reviewed by its users. The Google Play Android version scores a highly respectable 4.1 out of 5, while the iOS version knocks it out of the park, with an average rating of 4.7 out of 5 from more than 50,000 reviews.

There are prediction markets galore at Gemini

Given that they’re known for their crypto exchange, you would probably expect Gemini markets to have a firm crypto focus, and they do have plenty of these options, including predicting whether Bitcoin will be up or down over certain time periods. However, when it comes to their full prediction markets offering, crypto is just the tip of the iceberg.

Also present on the predictions platform are…

      Sports

All the major sports and leagues are covered here, including football, basketball, and hockey. There’s generally good liquidity throughout, and lots of markets, including Moneyline, spreads, and points totals.

      Politics

Another well-stocked section, the politics category is currently packed with options for the US midterms, but there are also longer-term markets available, such as predicting who will be the next Democratic presidential nominee.

Plus, if you’re a bit of a (Harlem) globetrotter, you can find political markets covering goings-on further afield, such as the next French election.

      Commodities and tech

I’ve grouped these two categories as they generally revolve around market prices, such as the price of oil or a tech stock. However, you can also predict things like when the next version of Anthropic will be released.

      Miscellaneous

I’ve gotta be honest, if this section were an athlete, it would be benched. While there is a selection of less popular markets in categories like culture and weather, these tend to have low liquidity. Still, there’s every chance that they could improve as Gemini Predictions grows.

Plenty of payment options at Gemini Predictions

There are lots of ways to fund your account at Gemini, but beware: some of them have processing fees.

      Here’s a quick look:

      Payment MethodProcessing Fees
      Debit cards3.49%
      CryptocurrencyVariable gas fees
      PayPal2.5%
      Bank Transfer (ACH)Free
Wire TransferFree for deposits, $25 for withdrawals

While crypto gas fees are usually low, I would recommend ACH as being the best option. It has no fees for deposits or withdrawals, and you don’t have to worry about the price volatility of cryptocurrency.

Timeout: How to get help at Gemini

The first port of call for customer support at Gemini Predictions is the FAQs section. This feels a little hidden away, as there’s so much going on at the main Gemini website (crypto exchange, stocks and credit card, as well as prediction markets), but there is a good overview of the Predictions section within the Support Center.

If you still need help after that, you can click the ‘Contact Us’ link at the bottom of the home page to submit a ticket. I tried this and received an email response within a couple of hours, which was pretty good.

      Is Gemini legit?

Yes sir-ee! Gemini is regulated by the Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC). They’ve also been long established as a crypto exchange and are licensed under the New York Department of Financial Services (NYDFS), which is one of the most stringent crypto licenses globally.

Gemini Predictions isn’t the finished product, but it’s a promising player

Given it only launched in late 2025, it shouldn’t come as a surprise to see that Gemini Predictions isn’t the perfect platform yet. The key thing here is that it does have plenty of promise.

The site design and usability are excellent, and there is a good selection of prediction markets, with probabilities that are generally competitive, provided that you stick with the more mainstream, high-liquidity markets. There’s also a pretty decent bonus of $20 in Bitcoin that you can get if you sign up today and trade with $100.

If you fancy giving them a try, just go ahead and click one of the Gemini banners on this web page.
