(291) Seattle Seahawks at (292) Detroit Lions
Seattle is a somewhat fraudulent 3-0 and although this isn’t a bad football team, they’ll take a big step up in class as they head to Detroit on Monday Night Football. The Seahawks barely got by Denver at home to start the year, needed overtime in their only road game against the lowly Patriots, and then beat a Miami team without a quarterback. Meanwhile, we’ve seen this Lions team steadily improve the past few seasons into a potential Super Bowl contender under the leadership of Dan Cambell. The Lions can beat you in a variety of ways as they rank top 5 in both passing and rushing yards per game. While Detroit is a major threat to score at any time, what goes somewhat overlooked is how much the defense has improved. Detroit is 8th in points per game allowed and while Seattle has had a solid D up to this point as well, it’s hard to see them keeping up in the scoring department on the road. Take the Lions.
