Like other games being played in areas of Florida & Georgia weather concerns may have paused enthusiasm for playing this one. With the Friday morning projections now showing mid to upper 70’s and clear for the 3:30-8:00 time block the green flag has been raised signaling “go” time for betting this one. All of the lopsided favorable matchups here indicate where this one is headed. Georgia State’s 112th ranked pass defense is allowing 9.0 yards per attempt and 258 against a schedule that has not included any tempo driven pass happy offenses. The Georgia Southern “Air Raid” attack was smothered last week by Mississippi and step down in class here vs. the Panthers beleaguered pass defense likely to breed large uptick in results. Matters could be made worse as it appears G-State may be without a pair of starters at LB ( 2nd leading tackler) & CB.
