(275) Denver Broncos at (276) New York Jets
There are so many adjustments that need to be made on a week to week basis in the NFL, especially in the early going. That being said, this is a sell high spot on the Jets as they welcome in Denver. I’m not saying New York isn’t a good team, but do they warrant laying over a touchdown against a Denver defense that has been top-notch? So far the Jets have beaten the Titans and Patriots. Will Levis has been the worst QB in the league thus far and everyone knows New England is a bottom feeder that lacks talent. The Broncos just went to Tampa and came away with a 26-7 victory in a game we saw Bo Nix play much better in. Rookies will struggle at times, but it’s the Denver defense that will keep them in this game. Sean Payton’s team ranks 6th in points per game allowed at 15.3. They’re 2nd in passing yards allowed and rank ahead of the Jets in both categories. Denver also blitzes more than any team in the league which will put added pressure on New York’s offensive line. This should be a rather low scoring affair and at the current number the way to play this one is with Denver. Take the Broncos.
