(101) Dallas Cowboys at (102) New York Giants
The Cowboys have always been good at beating up on weaker competition. When it comes to the playoffs, forget about it, but Dallas has been racking up regular season wins at a high clip in recent years. They also have a great record against the Giants on the road, which isn’t all that surprising, and considering the frustration vented by Micah Parsons after last week’s loss, we can expect a big time effort out of the defensive unit as they head to Jersey on a short week. The game plan will clearly be to stop the run and make Daniel Jones beat them, and we can count on a veteran defensive coordinator like Mike Zimmer to make the proper adjustments. When the lights are bright the Giants crumble, going 1-9 SU and 2-8 ATS in their last 10 primetime games played at home. We all know Dallas has much more talent, so a change in scheme plus an added motivational factor equals a win and cover on Thursday Night Football. Take the Cowboys.
