Jimmy Adams
(201) Georgia at (202) Alabama
Taking over for Nick Saban is no easy feat, but thus far it looks like Alabama hasn’t missed a beat under the new leadership of Kalen DeBoer. Through 3 games the Crimson Tide are averaging 49 points per game while holding their opponents to 8.7. They’re averaging 7.41 yards per play with opponents coming in at just 3.37. The latest victim was Wisconsin, and Madison is a very difficult place to play. An Alabama cover was never in doubt in a 42-10 win.
We all know how good Georgia has been over the past several years, and both teams are coming off a bye. Kirby’s group could have easily lost to Kentucky in their last game, and might have had it not been for a questionable decision to give UGA the ball back near the end of the 4th. Going to Tuscaloosa at night and coming away with a win will be extremely difficult. Both teams have an abundance of talent, but it’s the ‘Tide that have been the more impressive unit and they hold home field advantage while being listed as dogs. Take Alabama.
