We should expect a pitcher's duel on Sunday night at Citi Field, as long as the Phillies let Wheeler pitch past the first five innings. It might be wise for the Phillies to be cautious with only seven games left in the season and a six game lead in the division. When you look at the overall numbers, Wheeler appears to have a huge edge over Mets starter Megill, That hasn't been the case over the past month though, with Megill going 2-0 with a 1.69 ERA in his last four starts. The Mets have also kind of owned Wheeler. Alonso, Iglesias and Marte are all batting over .300 against him, and Brandon Nimmo is 12-for-41 (.293) with a home run and three RBI lifetime versus Wheeler.
