As a lifelong Dallas Cowboys fan, I'm also a fan of Deion Sanders. However, I am not a fan of "Coach Prime." His Buffs are coming off a very satisfying 28-9 road win over rival Colorado State. Does it get any better during the regular season than whooping your rival in front of their home fans? That makes this a huge letdown spot for Colorado.
The last time Baylor played in the altitude against a good QB was two weeks ago when they trailed Utah 20-0 or 23-0 before Utah QB Cam Rising left the game with an injury. But Utah's defense is worlds better than Colorado's, so I expect the Bears to be able to keep up even if they have trouble slowing down QB Shedeur Sanders and the Colorado offense. Let's not give the Colorado offense too much credit though. Nebraska's D (23rd in the nation, 255.3 total yards allowed per game) held them to 10 points and 260 total yards and that game was 28-0 Huskers at halftime. For comparison, Baylor's defense currently sits 13th in the nation, allowing 230.3 total yards per game.
Bottom line: I love taking the better defense plus points and that's exactly what we have here.
