Both teams need this game as they sit at 1-2 on the season. Much of the problem for Kansas has been QB Jalon Daniels and his 6 interceptions. In last Friday's 3-point home loss to UNLV as a double-digit favorite, the Jayhawks held a 1.9 yards per play edge, but Daniels' two INTs (-2 turnover margin) did them in. I like backing teams coming off losses with "misleading scoreboards" like that one. Back to Daniels, he was a Heisman contender two seasons ago, so the talent is there. KU head coach Lance Leipold is undefeated ATS (5-0 in the SDQL database, 7-0 according to Marc Lawrence) in his career in conference games coming off a loss as a favorite. I expect Kansas to win in a tight game.
