Big step up defensively for the Bobcats after facing Syracuse, South Alabama and Morgan State to start the season. Kentucky has one of the best stop units in the country, and we can’t see the Bobcats having any sustained success in this one.
Kentucky has scored 6 against South Carolina, and 12 last week against Georgia. This is a coaching staff that wants to run the football, and play stifling defense. Through three weeks they are averaging just 4.40 yards per play. While the Bobcats don’t have the defense of the last two Kentucky opponents, they are weaker offensively.
With this game sandwiched between #2 Georgia and #5 Mississippi, we can see the host playing this one very close to the vest.
