(603) Washington Mystics at (604) Dallas Wings
The Washington Mystics have significantly improved since the Olympic break, largely thanks to their defense, particularly their ability to force turnovers, and their three-point shooting. However, their lower offensive rating is partly due to the high number of turnovers they commit.
On the other hand, the Dallas Wings have struggled defensively all season, ranking dead last in defensive rating both overall and since the Olympic break. They also don’t force many turnovers, which bodes well for a Mystics team that tends to give the ball away. Both teams play at a fast pace, which further supports a high-scoring game and the potential for the over.
Looking at trends, Wings' opponents are 25-6-1 to their team total over this season, including a perfect 7-0 when the Wings are favored. Additionally, when the Wings are the less rested team, their opponents are 7-1 to their team total over.
With these factors in mind, I'm taking the Mystics team total over, good up to 85.
