Our selection is on the Seattle Mariners

We have one of our favorite spots in this one in Oakland as the Mariners look to break a two game losing streak. This will be the first home game for Oakland less than 24 hrs after playing in extra innings yesterday in Texas. They come home after a 6 game road trip and no one would blame them for a lack of interest in this quick turnback at home. The Mariners send one of their best pitchers to the hill in Gilbert and the last time he was in Oakland he allowed 2 runs in 7 innings. We will look for another quality start out of the 27 yr old who is having a great season. The A's send Osvaldo Bido to the hill and he had a unbelievable August for the A's sporting a 1.55 ERA. We see Mr. Regression waiting for him tonight in a game that is just a bad situation for Oakland. One more reason we are on Seattle in this spot is as we said earlier they have lost two straight games and both very close losses. We see the Mariners having a big bounce back game tonight. Also now that September is here Seattle need to start winning games against teams they should beat. They are 5 1 /2 games out of a wild card spot and play a brutal schedule down the stretch. In other words, the 4 games against Oakland they need 3 wins at least. Tonight will be the first one.
