Our selection is on the Arizona Diamondbacks for the first half on the ML.

For the first time this season we play an old man system play as a Best Bet. Well not really, as the system is for the full game but we just do not trust this Arizona BP so we like the first 5 instead. The system did go 2-2 last week with it's first sign of regression since we started. Now at 28-9 since the end of May but even taking the first half we like that this game situationally fits. The Dodgers send Justin Wrobleski to the hill and the rookie has struggled in 5 starts this season. He is sporting a 4.68 ERA and what is worse is that he is facing the best team in baseball hitting lefties. We will look for the Diamondbacks to start fast here as the first two games have been slugfests between the clubs. Arizona sends Brandon Pfaadt to the hill and there is no doubt that Brandon can be any type. He had a great July sporting a 2.31 ERA. However he has been horrific in his last two starts but we will give him a pass on his last start as he had 8 days between starts. Now that he is back in the regular rotation we will look for Brandon to have a big bounce back type game early for Arizona. For everyone getting this play that are not all access we will be playing this OVER for a smaller bet. As the last two games landed 10-9 and 8-6.
