3% Rotation #960: MLB Sunday 3% Philadelphia Phillies -134 vs Atlanta Braves @ 7:10 ET - Phillies bounced right back off Friday's ugly loss with a 3-0 win yesterday behind another stellar performance on the mound from Wheeler. Now Nola will take the mound in this one and I look for more of the same. In NL match-ups at home the Phillies have gone 8-1 in L9 that had Nola starting. Also, way back in March he opened up the season with a tough outing at home versus the Braves. Nola got roughed up and the reason I bring that up here is because it is amazing how consistent he has been at home since then. Nola has a 2.38 ERA from April onwards when he is pitching at home including a TOTAL of only 3 earned runs in his last 4 home starts. Nola loves pitching at Citizens Bank Park and has gone 51-23 at home from the 2017 season until now. The Phillies have now won 8 of last 11 at home and have won 3 of their last 4 hosting Atlanta. The Braves start Spencer Schwellenbach here and he has been solid against the Phillies this season BUT both those starts were in Atlanta. Facing them in Philly is a much bigger challenge. Also, Schwellenbach has given up 15 hits and 7 walks and hit a batter for 23 baserunners in 15.2 innings over his last 3 road starts. Also, 2 of those 3 starts were against last place teams! Now he is on the road against the 1st place team in his division. This is strong line value for the Phillies at home whether Edmundo Sosa or Weston Wilson are in place of Bohm (hand) in this one. Both guys played yesterday as Wilson played instead of Stott and both Wilson and Sosa produced for the Phillies.
